What has he ever actually contributed to this site? You are a solid poster who happens to be a fan of another team. @Sea Turtle’s entire persona right now is to actively root against the interests of ND. It’s been over a year and it’s exhausting.

Rules 6 and 7 are the clear violations

6. No repetitive negative posting. What makes a repetitive post? If you come to the forum and consistently say the exact same thing about the exact same topic day in and day out, that is being repetitive. Be sure to understand that no one is saying that you can not be critical. But this site will not be overrun by the same people coming on the site day after day saying the same negative things.

7. No flaming (i.e. trolling): If a poster comes onto the board with the intent only to flame, and continues to post nothing but flames or engages in no substantive discussion, the poster's posts will be deleted and the poster will be banned

In college ('90s), I came across a Columbia House insert in a '70s Playboy. Sent it in to get my eight 8 tracks for a penny. Bastards never responded.

Possibly my oldest memory (twoish) is of falling out of a moving car alongside an eight-pack of glass Pepsi bottles because nobody bothered to strap me in or lock the door.

And yes, I watched the captain.

All all this may be true. But we lost and we need to have a sacrifice. Sea Turtle is an IU fan first and can be dang frustrating.

Can someone be banned to provide input but still have access to read only to the site? I know the so called neighborhood app when your banned you don’t even have access to the information on what’s going on in your neighborhood. Of course I am asking for a friend…..

Can someone be banned for a period of time and then it can be progressively longer like the Nextdoor neighbor app? Is so I’ve been told.

Used to enjoy the NDOM and Koon takes.

If you guys want to ban me then ban me. None of this is important. It's just a game that gives us an outlet to vent over things that transpired over the past week.

My wife has been in the hospital for a week now with a wound that looks like a shark took a bite out of her. My son, who is about to start college just lost a childhood baseball teammate and friend because he flipped his 4 wheeler. We are stunned. My daughter just got married to a fine man and I gave her away.

I don't say this to Garner sympathy. I say it to express what's important in life.

If I'm harder on Notre Dame because of their underachieving compared to the University that I actually went to, then I plead guilty. I was on this forum for years before Indiana became good. I'm not some Indiana fan who just joined to troll ND fans. I may stir the pot.

I may post things that don't tickle the ear. But I watch every game and post in every game thread. Only a fan does that.

That's tough, hope everything rights itself. Maybe a break would be good, but if it helps to talk I think there's still an IE Prayer Thread if you need to get some more off your chest (As oppose to the Banned Thread)

When ND lays an egg maybe we should consider letting the prisoners out of the asylum. We could put them back after 24 hours, but it could give the board a purge. Just thinking outside the box.

You can ban users for specific periods of time, but they can still read the site as a guest.

The ignore feature is your friend if he bothers you. I can't speak for the other mods, but I don't think he's done anything to warrant a ban. Maybe that's because I don't let things bother me as much as others (must be my old age).

Prayers for your wife and son, for real. You are correct that most actual life events trump football.

However, this board is an athletic board supporting (or, in this weekend’s case, castigating) ND and you just basically admitted to being a reversible jacket IU fan, “until they got good.”

The pro-IU schtick on this board is beyond tired. You’re more Tom Haverford than you are Bishop or TTT. If it’s supposed to be humorous, you aren’t very adept at it.

It’s not hard. Quit with the trope or go log onto Peegs.
