I think Rees is still on a short leash. Its not inconceivable he gets pulled if the bad decisions and turnovers start.

Can I be real here... Wolverine 97 was banned for what?? Did he really go off near the end there??

He was a good contributor here for many years.

Yeah, he was going pretty ballistic towards the end, as far as I remember. He was warned but just kept going. I don't remember what thread but I do remember him becoming quite an ***.

I don't know what he got banned for at the end, but he told me his first ban was because he said "I feel sorry for people who bought a #5 jersey this year after everything both players went through that wore that number." That one seemed a little harsh for a ban imo.

The guy started with a sig pic of the final scoreboard of the first under the lights game. When we all asked him to remove it, he refused until a mod made him. Even then he still had a sig pic with the score on it.

I don't remember him ever being a valuable member of the board. Other guys like the Sooner dudes, and t town all contribute. Even ant and allgator contributed to an extent. W97 was nothing but a douche and I'm glad he's gone.

He lied to you. We gave that guy miles of rope, and he eventually hung himself. Most of his posts included a few passive-aggressive shots at us, which very predictably elicited a negative reaction here. Glad he's gone.

maison bleu, on the other hand, always struck me as a solid poster. Wouldn't mind seeing him again.

mais was on this board when I started posting. For years he provided insight into Michigan football. He was a real asset on this board still some noobs felt they had to act here like they were douchebags posting on the smack boards. mais got tired of it. IE lost a good poster.

^ I try to live by this...because when a troll comes by and get all troll-y and we neg rep him for it, the stuff my IE bretheren do by comparison doesn't measure up as bad enough

Honestly? Yeah. I'm not trying to start a war of words; just seems some members here get a little too sensitive.

It was a sig pic of a scoreboard. Not seeing the big deal that needed to have mods force him to remove it.

He was trolling. Plain and simple.

They won the game. They get the bragging rights for a year. But this isn't a UM board. Nor is it a smack board. There are lots of places to go if that's what one wants.

It was tolerated for a while then he was asked to remove it. He didn't. It was explained to him via PMs but he choose to make it an issue and escalate it.

Like others before him, he found out that posting here is a privilege not a constitutional right.
