I believe it be a reference to the difference in times that show on things like "You last visited," and when posts are made.

The default zone seems to be Eastern. When I check in without signing on the times are Eastern. When I sign on the times are adjusted to Central.

That's because you have your User CP Settings are set for the Central Time Zone. Under Edit Options you can set it to the time zone of yor choice.

I can really appreciate the humor of that. The irony is that it just happened. But my forced vacation was not instituted on the IE end. In fact I was very ill. Without attempting too much melodrama, I almost died. But I am on the mend, it seems.

This is my one warning, based upon past conversation. I should be quicker than fast, and better than good. However, if a long absense occurs in the near future, just raise a final glass for me. You are all hereby notified. And warned.

In all seriousness, get better Bogs if you're still on the mend.

The real rumor is... the whole board is in shock. Word is that Koon is really Whiskey. Whiskey was overcome by fact, and data, and had a breakdown due to herding all the homers on IE. The result was split personalities. One with Spoc like control and logic, the other with a burning need to compliment the male body. After reporting himself several times, to himself, he banned himself. The doctors are still working hard to pick up the pieces. The alter ego is currently repressed by heavy medication, but in all likelihood we'll see some sort of regression in late August, early September when all the homer volume turns up a notch.

I think he was seriously self medicating yesterday. He sent me a positive rep for a comment I made, and then sent me a PM calling me "an asshole conservative jerk" (5 minutes later) for the same comment.

While Jug did seem to be increasing his aggressiveness (especially yesterday), to me it seems like pretty much all of the political threads have been going on a bit of a rage as of late. I generally go on spurts of posting in them, but have held off save for the occasional political cartoon. Even the presidential horse race thread has devolved into finger pointing, you said this, no I didn't argument that seems to have left the topic almost completely.

I don't know about you guys, but I think I will stay away from those for a while posting-wise until the tensions die down.

Can we start football yet so that we can argue something not so polarizing?

I generally go on spurts of posting in them, but have held off save for the occasional political cartoon. Yup...totally staying away from the politics, police shootings (both directions), Confederate flag stuff, etc. I stay happier that way. Well, at least until I hear my favorite RB gets suspended for four games for taking hits of one-hit-wheelchair-weed.
