Taunting a weaker opponent is almost always a bad idea.

Thanks man appreciate it
More tickets to this game just became available!! go to und.com if you couldn't get em before!
Me and a buddy are making our 5th trip to beloved South Bend from Canada. This will be our second opening day!!! We had full intent on getting USC tickets but when they were gone we did what any logical ND fan would do.....split the cost and bought two games instead of one, Temple and Navy!!!
Even if Southern Cal ends up being a good game, you can't go wrong with going to 2 games instead of 1. Go Irish
I have been lurking over on this message board and here's a little more from our Owl friends at Scout:
Scout.com: Interesting thread on ND board about Temple game
Just remember, some Owls aren't that wise...
We'll score at least 21 points. I say our defense won't allow more than 24 points.
I hope not, I'd probably eat my hat, that would certainly be an off day for this defense. You know how to leave Temple scoreless? Put 8 in the box and force them to throw. They were 120th in passing last year.I enjoyed this:
So...ND gave up 21 or more points only twice all of last season: Pitt and 'Bama. Temple thinks they're going to score more than Oklahoma, Michigan State, Michigan, Stanford, Miami, and USC?I hope not, I'd probably eat my hat, that would certainly be an off day for this defense. As far as their defense not giving up more than 24 points...not that our offense has shown to be world beaters the last few years, but Temple ranked 88th in scoring defense last year. They weren't exactly stopping many teams, especially since they wound up with just 4 wins against mostly meh opposition and maybe two good teams.
