If you can't find any, call the ticket office the day before the game. They always get ticket returns at the last minute

Thanks man appreciate it

they usually put something out the night or so before that there will be an opponent allotment resale starting at 8am. make sure you call AT 8AM because they will go like hot cakes.

I would imagine Temple will return quite a few but opening day, labor day weekend, just off NC = demand.

Anyone want to analyze this game? I'm ready to give recruiting a rest and talk football.

I was reading a Temple forum and someone did a game simulation on NCAA 14 and Temple won 34-31. If Temple scores 34 points then I will puke

Looks like Temple returned some tickets. The tickets I saw would be in the visitor's section (Upper deck, corner of the endzone on the away side that's furthest from the tunnel)

Me and a buddy are making our 5th trip to beloved South Bend from Canada. This will be our second opening day!!! We had full intent on getting USC tickets but when they were gone we did what any logical ND fan would do.....split the cost and bought two games instead of one, Temple and Navy!!!

Even if Southern Cal ends up being a good game, you can't go wrong with going to 2 games instead of 1. Go Irish

I have been lurking over on this message board and here's a little more from our Owl friends at Scout:

Scout.com: Interesting thread on ND board about Temple game

Just remember, some Owls aren't that wise...

I enjoyed this:

We'll score at least 21 points. I say our defense won't allow more than 24 points.

So...ND gave up 21 or more points only twice all of last season: Pitt and 'Bama. Temple thinks they're going to score more than Oklahoma, Michigan State, Michigan, Stanford, Miami, and USC? I hope not, I'd probably eat my hat, that would certainly be an off day for this defense. You know how to leave Temple scoreless? Put 8 in the box and force them to throw. They were 120th in passing last year.

As far as their defense not giving up more than 24 points...not that our offense has shown to be world beaters the last few years, but Temple ranked 88th in scoring defense last year. They weren't exactly stopping many teams, especially since they wound up with just 4 wins against mostly meh opposition and maybe two good teams.

So then they expect to score more than Michigan St, Michigan, and Miami combined? Lol, I certainly don't think that'll happen but it is the first game of the season, crazier things have happened. Unless they expect ND to start mop up time in the 1st quarter!

Actually the bolded might not be a good idea. They've switched to a spread pass first offense this year, but I get where you are coming from. Either way, this will be a tough first game for them to transition from a run heavy to spread pass team, especially since their QB from last year is now a tight end. They seriously lack talent, but we cannot overlook them, like any team. They will come into Notre Dame Stadium wanting to make a statement. That first quarter needs to be our statement and just kill their hopes.

This is just like the Lazard thread on that ISU board we wasted time discussing a few months ago. "Fan" is short for fanatic. Of course they're unreasonably optimistic about the Owls' chances against us.

On a related note, is it always a terrible idea to taunt a weaker opponent. Nothing good can come of it.
