I hope every single user gets exposed. Scumbags.

Absolutely. If you cheat, you're scum and you deserve the shitstorm coming your ways. Never trust someone who cheats on their spouse. They broke the most important, solemn vow of their life. If they'll break that, they have a severe lack of character and integrity, and can't be trusted on all the lesser issues in life.

I'm surprised by the outrage this is seems to have caused. I may be in the minority here, but I feel for these people. Specifically those who are about to be outed with their sexual preference. I no more want these people outed than I want my browser history made public. Some of you guys want these people freaking stoned.

This. It's just crazy, and the saddest part of it all is that some have to be cheated on to know how deep the hurt runs. I work in a travelling construction field where morals are few and far between. Then the spouse at home gets bored and Blam! It's a weird turn of events.

It's devastating, for sure... Could you image being a loving spouse in what you believe to be a perfect marriage and this list comes out and your spouse is on it?? heartbreaking.

Nah, bro. Forget the cuckholded spouses or the children whose families are about to be shattered. The real tragedy here is the loss of privacy suffered by a bunch of adulterers. Can you imagine being outed as a Furry? Unconscionable.

Personally I feel bad In some sort of odd way for those that need this type of attention. It's almost as If I just want to sit them down and talk to them. Impossible as It may seem. The scary part about anything you do online is this type of thing blowing up in your face. Whether or not you morally deserve It, hearts and minds will be broke.. forever! I guess welcome to the future should be some sort of movie.. lol

What you guys are missing behind the outrage is (the entire point of the hack) that Ashley Madison is just a huge scam. They hire people to create fake profiles to give it the illusion of gender balance. I'd venture to guess that the vast majority of the people who sign up for the site never end up actually meeting someone from it. Instead, they sign up just long enough to realize that they've made a mistake and then run into the real business model: Ashley Madison charges a fee to delete your personal information. And if these hackers are right, they don't even do that.

The site has a bad reputation, and deservedly so, but it's not what it markets itself as.

I agree. If anyone on here is a fan of Howard Stern and SiriusXM Radio, you can listen to the advertisements and how it's supposed to be for the swinger type. I have always thought It was just a way for temptation to enter. But I don't agree that we should be able to censor this type of material.. It's become too slippery of a slope with flags, phone privacy, and censorship.

LOL those poor Furry people. I get the jest, but I really do feel for these people. Maybe it's my Catholic guilty conscious, but Jesus taught, “You have heard it said, ‘You shall not commit adultery. But I say to you, everyone who looks at a woman with lust has already committed adultery in his heart” (Matthew 5:27-28)

So I feel for these people because part of me feels to be one of them. But, you're probably right. Screw um, and everyone who likes like them. Those horrible people. We're are so much better.

(1) I was joking; and (2) that's a righteous sentiment. But the compromised adulterers are definitely less deserving of sympathy than those who will be damaged in the fallout (through no fault of their own). Your comment had nothing to say about them; so it struck me as odd that you'd single out the adulterers for sympathy.

People that are gonna cheat will cheat with or without Ashley Madison. This is just another vehicle for them to use.

. . . and getting caught in the rain!

PS. All I can add is affairs are best when fallen into accidently, and if you are consistently making good life choices, very little is left to chance.

Does Ashley Madison provide food? I ask because I keep hearing people talk about catered affairs.

Here is the thing that gets me. If people really wanted to keep their cheating private, why the hell would you pay with a credit card? Are people still naive enough to believe that websites are not extracting every last bit of data about you to create a profile of who you are, where you live, what you are looking for, etc? I personally find this to be deliciously ironic. The downfall of said adulterers on a private website is the lack of privacy. Ha!

When Jerry Springer was mayor of Cincinatti he paid a hooker with a personal check. I couldn't make this up if I tried.
