Oh there will be drinks, that's for sure. The bad news for you is that the only thing you will be drinking is a gallon of Hacienda Ranch.

It’s crazy how connected we become by this website. I found this site in 2010 when I was going through some tough family losses. This was my getaway and kept me sane - how funny is that with the characters on here. I don’t post as much as I used to - freaking job - but still love this place.

I met a couple of guys at Clemson ‘15 and really enjoyed spending time with Greyhammer that weekend.

If any IE folks plan on going to any games in the south this season I would love to connect. Can’t wait for the Clemson series to get rolling since that’s in my backyard now.

Of all the fine people on IE, the only one I've met in real life is ACamp due to having to bail him out of jail a few times for public drunkenness and lewd conduct and solicitation. He got thrown out of the El Paso Little Tykes Petting Zoo and the cops called on him last year. Cost me a plane ticket and two week's pay to make that "misunderstanding" go away.

Same here with #2 (August) and my first born was October 2024. We were planning to go to NIU before his birth so we could make it to a game but my wife went into pre-term labor. What a blessing in disguise not going to that game turned out to be.

2024 was the first time I didn't get to a game since I was a child. However, you will have a lot of down time caring for the newborn, they sleep a lot, and there's not a better way to bond than chilling watching football. At least in my experience.

I had a college buddy that I would talk ND with, particularly on recruiting stuff. Whenever HLS had news, I’d text him or talk to him about it on campus when I saw him… and he almost always had the scoop before I did. One day, he told me he was getting the most recent Davonte Neal news on a website called Irish Envy.

I found Davonte Neal’s profile, created an account so I could share what I knew about how BK used similar athletes at UC, and that was all she wrote. @woolybug25 welcomed me, told me to stick around, then proceeded to almost never be nice to me again. Y’all have been stuck with me ever since.

I haven't been able to get to games until late October/November because of the kids' sports on Saturdays, but I'm hoping this is the last year for that and Saturdays are freed up going forward. I haven't put anything together in a few years, but I've hung out a few times over the years with IE crew!
