My “online” ND fandom started when I discovered Her Loyal Sons. Those guys were pretty cool, kept the blog busy with articles and recruiting news, and the comment sections were usually pretty busy for a blog.
I had a college buddy that I would talk ND with, particularly on recruiting stuff. Whenever HLS had news, I’d text him or talk to him about it on campus when I saw him… and he almost always had the scoop before I did. One day, he told me he was getting the most recent Davonte Neal news on a website called Irish Envy.
I found Davonte Neal’s profile, created an account so I could share what I knew about how BK used similar athletes at UC, and that was all she wrote.
@woolybug25 welcomed me, told me to stick around, then proceeded to almost never be nice to me again. Y’all have been stuck with me ever since.
