So much can happen in the 80 days until the first snap of football. I would bet that 3 of those teams won't make the playoffs.

I know I wouldn't be in line to put any real money on those odds, it would be a stab in the dark and the true definition of being lucky if you're right!

Thought same thing... Do I think ND CAN make the playoffs... Of course.... but if you told me I had to bet my money... I would bet they wouldn't... A loss to GT or USC would be tough to come back from because our strength of schedule isn't great

They CAN make the playoffs... but to predict or expect it is different. IMO it's a safer bet that ND will have 3+ loses by Oct. 18th than it is that they'll make the playoff...

I'm really not a fan of our schedule this season. I don't think 11-1 will be good enough to get us into the Top 4, but I also think it is too tough for us to go 12-0....

Typical Irish faithful. There could be fifty preseason projections showing us in the top 5 and one showing us ranked 15. Guess which one we'd spend all day discussing?!

OSU lost to VTech and did just fine. Zaire is running the show, literally, and we are playoff bound.

Yeah, I'm almost to the point where I'm fully bought in to the Zaire Koolaid. He looks so natural running the ball and is efficient enough to capitalize on play action. As long as BK isn't stubborn and Zaire stays healthy, the sky's the limit with the offensive talent. The defense is a question, but BK not being stubborn will help that as well.

I'd take 3 of those teams being out over 3 being in.

Ohio State obviously has the best chance

Auburn has an unproven QB and plays in the cannibalisitic SEC

Baylor could run the table, or lose to Iowa St. or Kansas among others IMO

We needn't discuss ND, and how the playoffs are anything but a sure thing
