With Andrew David and Ahmir Mitchell transferring, Michigan had room to give out scholarships to three walkon Seniors.

Garrett Moores, AJ Pearson and Mike Wroblewski earn scholarships

With Ryan Glasgow, NT and Kenny Allen, K, having their scholarships renewed, Michigan is at eighty-four scholarship players. Glasgow and Allen were both given scholarships last year and both are starters.

Michigan now has twenty-two Seniors on scholarship and nineteen verbals for the 2017 class.

Michigan has as many FBs and TEs (2+7) as WRs (9).

Harbaugh never ceases to amaze me with his "elite" level of douchebagery. He is refusing to release practice film to Hawaii.

I'm not sure just how common (from a numbers perspective) releasing film is but it's my understanding that it's very common. Plus they are a 40.5 pt favorite.

yeah gonna have to disagree with you vehemently.

there is no rule that states he has to release practice film to the other team. it's not that common. at all.

the Hawaii coach asked for practice film bc there is no game film on Michigan yet. Why? Because the season hasn't started. Nobody made Hawaii play Cal in Australia in week 0. They decided to do that for a pay day. Not Harbaugh's fault. Not Michigan's fault. Fuck them.

I tell ya, I'm shocked by your response. Maybe "extremely" was poor word choice on my part but even your UM fanboi Lorenz used the phrase "relatively common". Anyways, Harbaughs still sucks farts out of bus seats.

I agree with this. Why should Harbaugh give out practice film if he isn't required to? Not saying he doesn't have the resources to simply put one together but it doesn't make much sense why he should have to give out practice film.

Harbaugh does A LOT of stupid shit, but not releasing practice film to Hawaii might be the least stupid thing he's done yet.

It's Hawaii. If he can't beat them by at least 4 scores with them reviewing the film, he should probably find a new job. Even a 6-6 Weis team beat Hawaii by 4 scores, and that was coming off a 12-1 season the Warriors had the previous year in '07.

If I was Harbaugh I wouldnt just give them the game tape, I'd give them my play calls for the first 3 quarters. You want to talk about balls of steel?

"one of the biggest upsets in college football history"...am I missing another one? That is the biggest.

Worst part is that Hart/Henne team whoop us up to the tone of 38-0. 2007 seems so long ago....

Probably the only time ever these two teams played without either one having a W.

1998 technically counts since it was the first game of the year.

If I recall correctly Ryan Mallett started that ND-MICH game in 2007. Think Hart and Henne were hurt and didn't play in the 2007 game.

If you go by point spread Stanford upsetting USC in the Coliseum is the biggest upset in history. USC were 41 point favorites at home, holding a 35 home game winning streak, and Stanford was 1-11 the year before in 2006 and USC destroyed them like 49-0 in '06. Stanford was also starting a 3rd string QB that game and USC was ranked #2 in the AP and #1 in the coaches poll. That to me is the biggest upset ever.

Michigan upset was big and shocking, don't get me wrong, but App State at that point was THE dominant FCS team and had just won the FCS National Title in 2005 and 2006, and they also won it again that year they upset Michigan in 2007. That was a squad that won 3 straight national titles and was just dominant in there division. Michigan absolutely should've beat them at home and they shit the bed horrifically, but there is no way that is a bigger upset than what Stanford did to USC in my mind. Stanford was a program coming off a 1-11 season and starting it's 3rd string QB against USC.

Whatever bro. Losing to an FCS team is by far bigger. I hope you relive The Horror for ever and a day. It was a nice stamp on your program! That would never happen to ND since, you know, we don't play FCS. Ever.

PS: Fun fact of the night :

"Tennessee offensive coordinator Mike DeBord and defensive line coach Steve Stripling were on Michigan's coaching staff in the same positions when Appalachian State beat fifth-ranked Michigan in the 2007 season opener."

LMFAO @ Mike DeBord being Tennessee's OC. Holy shit. I didn't even know he was still coaching.

This game makes sense now. How the HELL does that guy have a job as an OC at any major P5 school? He's got to be a freaking dinosaur now. He's got to be like 70+. He was old as shit 10 years ago when he was Michigan's OC. Wow.

Careful now, whippersnapper.

Age can bring with it experience, knowledge and wisdom.

Though it's not guaranteed.

Not all become senile blue-hairs with age.

Some remain lucid, blonde with a touch of gray, productive and valuable with time.

Keeping up with "the times" is subjective and of debatable import.

Let the good times roll!

Screw this Alzheimers shit ...

Every fan base is delusion at times, including our own. I love seeing a Michigan fan try to defend the Appalachian State loss though, at home no less. It is the definition of upset, and the defining moment for all FCS teams. We may have had the worst season in our history in '07, but at least we didn't lose to an FCS school...hell, we have yet to play one.

It's funny this come out this week. I'm watching Jack Nolan's show with Kelly from Wednesday, was just posted last night. Jack asks Kelly if he ever talks to an opposing coach during game week. Kelly says not typically unless it's a bowl week and you have press conferences, but he says there's times when you didn't receive film and he'll contact a coach. He specifically mentions an anecdote from GVS where coaches would trade VHS tapes back then and a coach would not show, and Kelly would have to call the next day.

In any case, this was all before the Michigan/Hawaii tape story. Just thought it was interesting and lends itself to the fact this is not a rare occurrence for coaches to lend film during a game week. Also, Harbaugh is a douche. It's fucking Hawaii.

cool story.

I mean really cool except the Hawaii coach never requested the film.

Hawaii coach: I was only joking about tape exchange with Michigan!
