There is a meme exclusion.
I knew that a month ago.
There is a meme exclusion.
If FLorida State ends the season 12-1, with their only loss being to Notre Dame, and they win the ACC Championship Game?
They will be in front of ND for the playoffs.
Gonna have to agree to disagree here.
If we go 11-1, we will have beaten FSU plus some combo of 2/3 of Stanford/ASU/USC. Their best 3 wins would be against OK State/Clemson/Florida and then whatever average team comes out of the ACC Coastal.
After that their wins go Miami/Louisville/Virginia. We'd have Michigan, UNC, Louisville.
The SOS would be pretty close. But our head-to-head on the road would put us over the top IMO.
I honestly don't think FSU>ND would even be a seriously debated issue in this scenario by the committee or by the media.
The media loves Florida State. If you don't think that the pressure to put Florida State into the playoffs over Notre Dame will be insurmountable, then you are fooling yourself.
CNN's Rachel Nichols reported Winston's suspension was extended after Florida State's administration "discovered he'd not been entirely truthful with them." That report was corroborated by Fox Sports.
No he's not.
Those who forget history are condemned to repeat it.
We're you even weaned in '93?
I am surprised that no one in the media has mentioned........
He stood on a table, in the middle of campus, and shouted out a sexually explicit saying, while he is being investigated for raping a girl.
Now what kind of integrity will he have, if he stands in front of an investigatory committee and says, "I would never do something like I am being accused of. I have the greatest respect for women, and would never do anything to demean them in a sexual manner."?
"Oh really, Mr. Winston? Were you showing the greatest respect for women and their sexuality, when you stood up on a table in the middle of a campus facility and yelled, 'Fvck her in the pvssy!'? Or should we maybe believe that your words here today are meaningless, and intended only to get you out of trouble?"

"First of all, I want to apologize to the university, my coaches and to my teammates," he said. "I'm not a 'me' person, but in that situation, it was a selfish act, and that's not how you do things around here.
"I want to apologize to my teammates because I have now made a selfish act for them. That's all."
@McMurphyESPN: What in the world RT @SECbooger: jameis winston got dressed & then was told by Jimbo to go get undressed WOW WOW #Seminoles
Wow! Just wow! Was out at the store a while ago, and ran into an old neighbor and friend. He brought JW and FSU up. He thought JW had brain damage.

The guy found some fame last year and obviously has no clue how to handle It. All this talk about him being a kid, immature, punk,... We give him way too much credit, there isn't an adjective appropriate on any blog to describe the likes of a man of this calibre.
He carries a 3.0+ GPA and is on the FSU Honor Roll.
My wife's niece taught him at Hueytown and made no such observation.
They showed video of the interaction the first time when he came out fully dressed, and the second when he came out with just his jersey on. Sure looked like the second time Jimbo was apologizing to him and said 'my fault'. I'm no lip reader, but it sure looked like that. If so, its pathetic for the coach to be the one apologizing.
They also showed video of their interaction following him changing and coming back out, or maybe it was just before the game started. But it looked like Jimbo apologized.

"Jimbo, what can you say about tonight."
"We just did what Jameis said!"
Seriously, there were a number of times that the showed Jimbo turning back on the sidelines looking like he was getting instruction from Jameis. I wish I was kidding.
