Why not in a couple more years when he develops a QB and develops the great players he keeps after he pushes out the 3 stars that were in the way and have both at home again?

MSU and OSU wont be this weak again for a while

I hate UM but they return a fair amount of talent and Ohio State lost more talent than any other team in the country. If they are going to beat tOSU, this is the year they need to do it.

I hate Michigan but I can acknowledge their team has some talent on the roster. We'll see what Harbaugh can do in year two, years 2 & 3 can often be magical for new coaches so I wouldn't be surprised to see Harbaugh put them squarely in the race for the playoffs.

yes, I just threw up a little in my mouth.

Yes, I hate myself for saying anything positive about UM.

There's not enough #FuckMichigan in this thread.

Cannot be stressed enough now that the series is returning.

if Harbaugh cant beat OSU and MSU this year then he never will, both are gonna be down this season

Astute observation. Sadly if Michigan doesn't Michigan, they do have a decent chance to beat both OSU and MSU this year, although by November maybe Urban Meyer will have worked out any kinks they'll experience with all the new starters...they certainly have talent stockpiled. Plus, they still have JT at QB. He'll be better than whoever Michigan trots out at QB, and that can make a big difference.

Please no please no please no. That would suck. They seem to be a popular CFP pick with writers though.

Yes Michigan has a lot of talent. Sparty likes to joke that Michigan wins in Feb, but they win in the fall. But if Michigan can sort out their QB by the time big games start, why can't OSU or MSU sort out their issues?

lulz. They didn't mention that reporters asked about the suspensions and Harbaugh walked out of the press conference:

I don't mind the answers he gave. Why tell everyone when he probably hasn't even determined it himself?

Is there any chance they shit the bed this season? I feel like they overachieved big-time last year and this team is still basically a bunch of Hoke guys.

I really believe that Jim Harbaugh suffers from CTE with how he acts. He is just out there and normal people don't react to things like he does. Michigan fans think he is the greatest but have to agree with Jim Rome that he is not going to last long at Michigan.

Wtf happened? I am only aware of Harbaugh just randomly posting the 'Chris' Everett fight... something else had to have happened... right?

How is UM's schedule any less difficult than ND's. They play 3 top 15 teams all on the road (all 3 were in new years 6 games last year) as well as a Wisconsin team who just beat USC in their bowl game.

Strength of Schedule Visualized Sort that by conference. It's not a great disparity but it does appear easier from the outset. We'll see if that holds up by the end of the season. There can be a lot of fluctuation where teams are ranked.

Beauty of a 2nd post......

It'll be interesting to see how he shows himself over the coming posts.

which he didn't need for this year. they are already below 85.

Hate to say it, but those are two kids who never belonged at Michigan in the first place. Yeah you're not going to get a roster full of 5*'s at a place like Michigan, I get that. Maybe only at a school like Alabama or USC or Florida where you have an insane amount of talent in-state/region. Heck, Harbaugh has already "processed" a pair of 5*'s in RB Derrick Green and DT Ondre Pipkins. But both of these guys were HUGE reaches by Hoke. Probably should've been walk-on candidates that if they perform they can earn an offer.

Pallante originally was a grayshirt. Both Pallante and Canteen were part of a sixteen signee class ('14) due to total numbers. That class also contained Speight, Bunting, Furbush and Wangler.

The following class had fourteen signees during the coaching change with eight commiting after Haubaugh was hired.

I have Michigan at 82 scholarship players, assuming Ryan Glasgow and Kenny Allen are on scholarship. Pallante and Canteen were backups at best and could have seen Freshmen playing in front of them. Canteen was injured last year. So, these are not surprising. I am also assuming Ahmir Mitchell and Shelton Johnson aren't booted. Kareem Walker is not in the '16 roster photo. Any word on any of these three?

Pallante and Canteen honestly weren't takes. Hoke recruited a lot of kids that just realistically weren't worthy of playing at this level. Way too many.

Kareem is back with the team practicing. Sounds like the photo thing was a punishment for letting his grades slip and he's turned it around.

Johnson and Mitchell are suspended indefinitely. Rumors on Shelton Johnson are that he's been in the doghouse since last year and that Mitchell is hanging out with him a lot and the two are very fond of smoking the devils lettuce. Sounds like Shelton Johnson is on majorly thin ice. One more slip up and he's gone. He was suspended last year too. Mitchell has a little more leeway as he's a frosh but he's off to a bad start.

"A day or two ago, they sent my mom a card thanking us for going to the Michigan bbq, but we never went," Solomon said. "I do not know which recruit they were talking to, but it was not me. It was just a little heartbreaking, for me to supposedly be so high on their list, for them to confuse me with someone else. Plus they spelled both of my names wrong after I told them, but that was not the main issue. I guess they do not have tabs on me."

Well I guess they don't keep track of their recruits as Solomon decommits. LOLZ

It's fine if they chose to leave on their own. It's pretty scummy to force their hands and push kids out though. I am not saying that's what happened here, but your post seems to be defending those types of actions.
