According to Dodds, Matt Campbell would turn down THE UM job if offered.
How about Tennessee?
Dodds said he wants ND or OSU jobs
Maybe Ohio State shows up at the stadium with cutouts of the Michigan players and Harbaaw. Or Urban Meyer accepts the HC when Harbaugh leaves, then backs out due to illness. Or an Ohio recruit commits and withdraws on SD to sign with The state university. They first played in 1918 in the middle of the Influenza Pandemic. Any skunkbear images with a yellow stripe?

Ohio State is "in talks" with the Big Ten about either a substitute or changing the six game rule.

This is pure bullshit and the only thing that would be more egregious would be if the CFP committee actually considered OSU after a move like this.

I can understand the OH love, by why ND?

Catholic dude from Ohio. No secret here in Iowa he wants the ND job.
His only son's name is Rudy. Closet ND fan?

I hate Ohio State, but everyone has been making up rules on the fly all year. The ACC is straight up protecting ND and Clemson at this point with the scheduling changes... it's no different than the B1G changing things to protect OSU's chances at making the playoff, imo. You're doing what you think is most beneficial to the conference.
Now, I'd be pissed if I were Indiana, getting teased with the idea of fulfilling the 'games-played' obligation and sneaking into the B1G title game over OSU, but they also lost straight up to OSU, so their argument is kind of weak in that regard.
If I were running the B1G, I definitely wouldn't be okay with hanging my CFP hopes on one-loss Indiana getting enough love from the committee AND taking care of business in the title game.
No way IU is deserving to be considered a TOP 4 in the country .. winning the BIG or not. They are having a good season, but come on now ... time to get real!I hate Ohio State, but everyone has been making up rules on the fly all year. If I were running the B1G, I wouldn’t have been a cuck and would have started the season in September. Problem solved. They created this issue by pretending to care about the players safety.
Not suggesting they deserve to be top 4, but they barely got beat on the road at OSU. What does that say about OSU?
Personally, I always give home field advantage a +7. So in my book, they were even. I view the ND/Clemson game the same.
IMO, a one loss Texas A&M and an undefeated Cincy team is more deserving than IU, especially if you use the "eye test" that the committee always refers to. Florida would be too, but after Bama takes care of business with them, they'll just be another casualty of the Tide juggernaut and be sitting there with a 2nd loss.
Man, you guys sure take the B1G's football scheduling decisions personally.
OSU is in a place where a loss would get them in the CCG but a canceled game keeps them out. It's a bad rule that's obviously led to a result nobody thinks is fair in and of itself.
Would there be a similar controversy over the rule if it wasn't OSU on the outside? I can't say. But the current situation is obviously an oversight due to a series of hasty decisions.
Don't forget that IU is without Penix now.
And lets be clear, the ACC is kneeling before Dabo because Clemson doesn't want to go to FSU. ND gets the benefit because they could claim clear bias by make the Irish play Wake and allowing Clemson to skip FSU.
The BIG should just announce a 4 team playoff. OSU vs NW, IU vs Iowa, boom, problem solved. I do not believe that if OSU was to lose they would still be in the playoff.
Or have OSU play Texas AM this weekend since they are both open. These clowns can't pretend that it can't happen when BYU v CC happened in days.
I just hate the fact that if ND loses there is a chance they get left out, no matter the score.

But that would go against the rules they set and are currently already trying to break to get OSU in the conference championship game!
