Kid might end up at OU, he might not. In reality there is a good possibility that he is just a 17 yr old kid that is torn and really struggling with this decision. Its amazing how many people forget what it was like to be 17 in general, let alone having to deal with making a decision like this when all of a sudden kids your age are getting PAID, and you have a hundred different things and people pulling you different directions….for better or worse.

Can't win championships without difference makes all over the field. Recent history has proven the following:

You can only win a championship with elite talent at the QB position, UNLESS...you field an elite defense. This cycle alone we lost an elite QB, elite WDE, and now (likely) elite safety.

Hate to burst your bubble, but we're not winning any championships anytime soon. Best we can hope for is to finally get that "NY6" monkey off our back. That's our new ceiling IMO, at least until we find a way to better navigate these NIL waters.

Agree 100% you can miss the chance of a championship goodbye. ND needs to do a few things if they want to compete.
1. They need to get with the program with NIL. All 5 star guys want money up front, if you can’t offer it then the next team will.
2. ND needs to lesson their academic standards for athletes so ND can have success in the transfer portal
