Dante Moore can go to MSU for the money I suppose but you can't buy a whole team. Much as I hate to admit it Harbaugh has built something at Michigan the last couple of years. And between the two Michigan will win more.

I'm still undecided on how much of a cancer this is on the sport. On the one hand, Bama can suddenly buy a class, but that's a dangerous game. On the other hand, teams like MSU can steal prized difference makers from actual football teams with hopes and dreams of winning things.

Maybe not, but buying two or three difference makers on a basketball team =/= buying two or three difference makers on a football team.

Hopefully this gets reined in soon regardless. I do think the downside outweighs the potential benefit of changing the balance.

I live in Oregon and can confirm Eugene is a strange place. It rivals Portland and that is saying something.
