“LSU, Oregon, Miami, Michigan, Ohio State, a lot of schools to be honest, so Notre Dame of course,” he said of who he talks regularly too. “A lot going on.”

“I don’t have lots to say,” Moore said. “It’s a blessing for CJ to excel in his college career at Notre Dame. It’s a true blessing for him. (Marcus) Freeman and I still have the same connection we have. There is no fall off or anything about it.”

Lol

The only visit Dante Moorehas lined up for the summer is to Texas A&M. It will be an unofficial visit next weekend and he is looking forward to this visit. The buzz has shifted from Notre Dame to schools like LSU and Texas A&M. Michigan is still in this too, and there have not been any schools officially ruled out. There was a little more buzz around Moore’s name Thursday night than there has been in recent months. This one could still go a few different ways. Jaden Rashada could factor into this as well. He has high interest in the Tigers and Aggies, so with his commitment coming on June 18, it could potentially impact Moore’s recruitment. Ohio State was another school that came up for the first time in a while on Thursday night. Moore said he has been in talks with Corey Dennisrecently.

His tweet last night came off as sad and it needed violin music in the background. That was 100% in response to CJ and he couldn’t have made it more obvious.

NIL has given recruits a hell of a lot more leverage in recruiting. Dante lost all of his leverage on Notre Dame last night.

As someone once said, ain’t no fun when the rabbit got the gun.

At the end of the day I'll take CJ Carr comitting this early and building both the 2023 and 2024 class versus Dante who was playing games and stringing ND along. What would have happened if ND let Dante keep doing what he is then blindsides us last minute?

I think Dante is going to choose Michigan and his heart was at ND. He (and dad) couldn’t make up their minds and now the boat is sort of full. ND doesn’t want Dante because I think they don’t want to risk CJ leaving. Now he’s crawling back to Michigan because there’s no room. He never wanted to go to Oregon or TAMU, he was just enjoying the spotlight. ND saw more upside both athletically and in natural leadership in CJ. In a perfect world, you get both, but IDK if that ever could’ve happened. They want to be at different schools it seems.
Maybe Dante does, but CJ said ND recruiting Moore didn't bother him. Seems Carr's confident enough that competition doesn't bother him.

I think it’s because he’s likely reclassifying. You don’t take summer school classes for fun. He might’ve shut it down because he doesn’t want to set himself up for failure. But Driskell said yesterday that he’s signed up for classes this summer. So unless Driskell is colossally full of shit, which is possible, CJ is prepping for ‘23.

Could be getting himself on the EE track, rather than a full reclassification. It will take more work than one summer session to get qualified for ND admissions a full year early.

Someone just said earlier that he was NOT reclassifying. But, with no Dante in the fold and if Driskell is correct that he is taking summer classes.... seems to me reclassifying IS an option for someone who has all the physical and mental tools to step on the field and compete with Buchner next year. Still needs to add some weight though our S&C doesnt seem to have a problem with that.

EE is probably a more likely scenario however. Not sure ND has admitted a reclassified person before have they? Whatever the case, he needs to make sure he has his foreign languages sorted out.

Keep in mind Loy said he was told that there are some in the staff that still want to push for him, and if they do, he thinks Dante could very well wind up at ND.

I am of the mind now that we ride TB12. If he is Avg to OK, we get a guy in the portal for next year. Keeps a nice clean path for
C-Jesus to walk on the reflecting pool water straight into ND Stadium.

It could also be true that ND has already given some guidance to Carr about what to say (or not say) regarding reclassifying until a clearer picture arises.

What better way to kill any attempt at ND getting any QB in the '23 class if Carr openly says I'm going to reclassify and then the logistics with Carr reclassifying don't work out.

In the interview Loy posted last night, he mentioned he'll be here in 2 years "in the spring", so EE tracks.

Interesting little thing I noticed on 24/7s article about the 7 on 7 in Vegas when listing out who is there:

"Michigan/LSU/Miami/Texas A&M/Oregon target Dante Moore"

Honestly this guy deserves Michigan and their flake coach. He had his chance to be the ND golden child but the greed was too much. Clearly he said things to MF that made MF question that he was being played.
