“It hasn’t mixed up the thought process for me at all,” Tate said. “Because I know the big bucks come at the end when you go to the league. I don’t think NIL money can touch the league money as of right now. I know that picking money over development won’t get you into the right spot. Because the NIL money doesn’t help you get to the league.”
No amount of money would make me choose Tennessee over OSU if I was an elite wide receiver.

I see where you're coming from, but Heupul is slinging it around at UT. Deep balls galore. Honestly could be a good offense for years to come, especially if Hooker improves even more and Nico hits.

Again, OSU way more proven. But that kind of offense, with the right amount of money...

He’s not going to college to play school.

He's an amazing talent, for sure. Another great get for OSU.
Hopefully this means Rico Suave is Irish.

Visiting Miami and Oregon after being committed for a month. OSU about to get NIL’d.

Understand why him and Dante were so tight now.
Why is OSU class crashing? They not playing NIL at all or what?

Ohio State and ND are operating similarly in terms of having collectives that are doing a good job of taking care of the players on campus.

Miami, Oregon, A&M, Tenn, and now Bama and some others are throwing around up front “contracts” and these kids are getting steered by their agents to go to the highest bidder.

Most everyone agrees that was these schools are doing is against the rules, but they’re basically daring the NCAA to call their bluff.

I have infinity reasons to dislike Ohio State and its fans, but they seem to operate relatively on the level when it comes to the dirtier elements of the sport.

Wait what? So this kinda thing doesn't only happen at ND? You're telling me that top recruits don't take visits even after being committed? According to some here. That means he's gone. Just asking. Plus I'm high.

No amount is extreme but I agree with the sentiment. The NFL will pay you $10+ million per year if you’re great and Ohio State will get you there. TN is a joke.
Maybe 5% of osu recruits will make $10M plus per year in nfl … it’s hard to say no to $5M in HS… that’s guaranteed life changing (if you’re smart with it)

So many people are going to tune out of CFB in the next 5-10 years. No sane person will be able to stand watching all their top players and recruits constantly bailing on them for the Bamas and TAMUs of the world.
I for agreed with Mike Frank when he said it. Mike Frank is the embodiment of my Id

Taking away the tradition and uniqueness of college football in favor of making it NFL Light will definitely lower my enthusiasm.

Recruiting for Miami has taken off this summer. Oregon recruiting has also done well the past couple of years.

Did Tate consider Bama at all?

I am ready for the NCAA to start calling bluff on these schools.

I also wonder about the locker room dynamics of all this. Freshmen are going to be walking in with six or even seven figures of cash thinking they're King Shit. It's not like the established players won't get something from NIL but most don't seem to be getting what the recruits get. Gonna be real hard to be a coach at some of these programs the next couple of years.

I foresee turnover. Like Lincoln Riley is going to put up with pouting players like Nelson. He has too many good players to deal with that. I foresee a lot of thrown fits on sidelines from spoiled and entitled over hyped turd buckets. I could see kids losing NIL deals due to behavior. Coaches will need to throw them off the team or have a cancer in the locker room. I see bad culture and poor team chemistry. The BIG10 and ND seem more in tune to the pit falls. Bama is just being Bama. All of college football is looking forward the Sabans eventual retirement.

I would bet that someone like Saban can handle the locker room dynamics, but I really doubt someone like Jimbo Fisher can.
