Yeah, it's a total generalization. I'm not often seeing physicians with their acts together walking through my door. But there is a type of physician that fits my description, and it's the kind of physician who NoDak will typically see too. There's also lots of scummy attorneys out there. It's why I have no problem with attorney jokes.

Re: the glorified trade school comment. I'm not saying it isn't hard. I couldn't do it. But it's not a finance, business or law degree, and the amount of doctors I've worked with who think that they can handle it because "I'm a surgeon, so this is nothing" is not insignificant. But again, those are the types that typically end up running into a ton of trouble and come to a law office after they've thoroughly screwed the pooch. Those are "my people."
So your physician clients don't have their acts together and you are generalizing that to all physicians? Why even make that generalization when you know it's a fallacy? In other news, all college coaches fake a southern draw and dance with star QBs.

I explained in the post you just quoted that the context was that I was talking to a law student. Put down your pearls bud. No one needs your assistance.

You called out an entire profession based off your experience with a small percentage. The trade school comment was off base which, I assume, is why you needed to "clarify". I'm not offended, and I don't mind being referred to as bud.

I just saw that he was ranked #134 overall and the #19 receiver by ESPN.

Do not want.

Objection, character evidence. I'd like that stricken please.

Or is it evidence of habit?
"Objection, your honor... assumes facts not in evidence. 'Taters gonna Tate' is a tautological statement, and opposing counsel has refused to produce evidence that Carnell is in fact a 'Tate', so the statement should be stricken from the record."

Take it for what it’s worth, but a good friend of mine is a coach in the league that Tate plays 7v7 and is adamant that he is going to end up at ND. Did say that Tennessee has been “trending” with him over the past month or so but says that he “loves ND” and is convinced that is where he ends up. Obviously a lot can change but thought that was worth sharing.

Also said that he took his team, who’s is based in FL, to a visit at Tennessee and they were handed $2,000 cash, each. Which sounds on par.

For all the pay to play that has been rampant at Rocky Top…they still suck. Bad investment

2023 Ohio State WR Target Carnell Tate Nearing Decision

Tate sounds like he's done with visits. Just setting the stage for the commitment this summer...

Tennessee - 60.3% (ON3) - 1 expert CB - 455mi. - 11/27/21, 1/22/22, 4/8/22, 5/14/22
Ohio State - 31.1% (ON3) - 9 expert CB's - 270mi. - 6/8/21, 6/22/21, 10/30/21, 11/20/21, 4/1/22
Notre Dame - 6.3% (ON3) - 1 expert CB - 72mi. - 3/20/21, 6/6/21, 6/18/21, 6/27/21, 10/2/21, 11/21/21, 3/15/22
LSU - <1% (ON3) - 0 expert CB's - 815mi. - 4/22/22

Certainly seems like a Tennessee/Ohio State battle. I think ND can keep their head held high if this doesn't go their way because they've done absolutely everything to get this kid to come to ND. Sometimes there's not much you can do. The most visits went to ND. The closest school goes to ND. The most recent visit was the baseball game in Knoxville for Tennessee and we'll see where he ends up. Would be pretty wild if he joins Brandon Inniss & Noah Rogers in the same class but I guess that's the power of Ohio State. Wish ND was able to convince him he could walk in and play day 1 which definitely wouldn't seem like the case at Ohio State. Tennessee also has bags of cash to throw around. Anyway interesting recruitment.

Win some and lose some when it comes to recruiting. The staff has been on him early on, but it is what it is at this point and unfortunately it doesn't look like it will be us.

Will be interesting to see if Hartline loses someone everyone thought he would get. NIL likely has a significant weight in the process. But for everyone wanting more parity in NFL minor leagues CFB, this could be another step towards that.

I'm guessing Tennessee based upon his words and his body language. ND seems like a distant third.
