A lot of fans from other fan bases can't resist being trolls. TomHaverford, ant80, whatever that Florida guy was...they either start out as trolls, or they just let their egos get in the way eventually and start shitting on everything. I'd like to see more posters from other fan bases come in, but there's not a lot of reason for them to come quite frankly. We did have that USC princess that was here for awhile too. She never got banned, just disappeared.

I think the Bama guys have never really needed to be disrespectful or egomaniacs because, well, they're at the top of football right now and everyone knows it
Florida guy=Jerry Rice?

FWIW - Mike Farrell is doing a Twitter Space right now on Malachi Nelson and Keon Keeley.

Not a great update on Keeley. He said he doesn't think he's an imminent flip or anything and won't this weekend because he is thoughtful and deliberative with his process. That being said, Farrell is giving off the impression that Keeley decommitting at some point is a very real possibility. ND definitely can still hang on to him, but it sounds like he thinks it could become a dogfight to retain him.

This isn't really any new information, but I thought was helpful context on how he sees the recruitment looking. We'll see, though - we're only partially through the Bama visit. If it doesn't resonate, that could throw some cold water on the flip possibility.

Farrell has literally ZERO contacts now.

Him saying that is no different than any random person saying it.

He is trying to build up his independent site since Rivals sent him packing, so he has to create content.

Literally more interested in what Ja Rule thinks about this recruitment than Mike Farrell

You commit first. Brag about wanting to be the face of the class and then do this shit. It’s a fair shot.

He’s a kid. Who the hell cares if he visits Alabama. I would listen to what Nick Saban says too. Celebrities bad mouthing kids on social media isn’t a good look in any way. I hope he sticks but I can’t imagine him or his family is thrilled to see the entire fan base bash him for taking a visit.

Also if we are gonna keep using this tired recruiting is like dating trope then the answer is be Jeeter drop loads wherever and dont get married anywhere and everyone is cool with it. It is when you make a big display of your marriage and say all the right things and then bang your wife’s bride maids every weekend. You gladly accepted all the plaudits and atta boys at the front end and now somehow your the victim when you don’t behave the way that is expected and committed to.

There should be more accountability. That said, he has no business tweeting that shit.

Yup. Commits have all the power and even the narrative since coaches cannot say much.

Keep an eye out to see if Rodney Orr from TI puts out anything on Keeley's visit. Ole Rodney is usually pretty careful with his words. If he thinks Bama has a chance here, then the worry on this thread is probably warranted.

I heard they served him white sauce on his visit and the sacrilege made him reaffirm his pledge to ND.

Why does it matter what anyone tweets?

If a recruit is that soft, his college life might be awesome, but his real life afterwards will suck…

Seriously, 95% of these kids will not only never make the NFL, but if they do they will still go bankrupt, and the rest will be serving fries in the near future. It’s amazing to me how every kid who is good at HS football thinks they are set for life?

Making $200k post taxes a year, for 40 years, with no worries of being cut for injuries or old age at 30…is so much superior than get a few million and nothing else at a young age.

History is undefeated.

It’s superior if you make poor choices at a young age with the money. If you get a few million and invest right away, yeah that’s superior

I love NIL for how it's disrupted the the NCAA but I hate it cuz any program can land any player if they have the best plan.

Ain't gonna lie, this would be the biggest gut punch for me since I officially joined this site.
