Since he sat out a year he should already have graduated. How much does an ND graduate degree add to his after football career? He reminds me of Julius jones with more power.

I'd love for both of them to come back, but neither of them should. They've already shown everything you need to see if you're an NFL scout. They put in their time and will be remembered for decades as one of the best RB combinations in college football. Now, let's ride these horses to a national championship and make them legends!

One counter argument to the NFL is the odds for a second contract are very very small. How many stud backs were out of the league in 3-4 years?
Taking the money now isn’t as foolish as it might seem.

He can always come back and get it if he wants. I think a fair number of guys in the league do that (make momma happy)

He's currently Mel Kipers RB #3 and is only a combine performance to jump him #2 as well as being draft much earlier.

I'm not quitting on this kid. He's been so outstanding for us.. Just has to get stronger with the ball. Bottom line

Who’s quitting on him? He obviously has mild issues carrying the football but the poster above said it right, he shouldn’t be a redzone player until he fixes the issues. You should use Williams anyway as your pass catching threat in the RZ. If that’s plan B, do it.

He should come back next year to work on his ball security.
It's a bit concerning, it certainly helped keep BC hanging around. He still needs to work on his blocking and he could be a receiving threat too, but he's not sticking around methinks.

Kipper has him as the #3 back in the draft. Going anywhere from the third round in is a win for a RB.

Price is a really gifted athlete and RB. But Love does literally everything better than him and that’s why Price isn’t the lead back and why you don’t want the ball in his hands when it counts.

Price has fumbled 3 times in 8 games: Miami, NC State, and BC. All inside the 10 yard line; 2 of them inside the 5. Quit giving him the ball in the RZ.

Being Kiper’s #3 back is fun, but do that in the NFL and he’ll be cut on Monday.

The upside is he may want to come back to prove he can hold on to the football.

I agree. Plus, he would be the starting RB too.
That might be debatable at this point. Struggles in pass protection, hasn't shown to have a strong receiving game, and fumblitis issues. He's basically a more dangerous Juice Williams. He hasn't shown he's anywhere close to a complete back, he's shown to be a very good ball carrier and that's it. I still think Aneyas could end up being the every down guy, or at least 1a.

I think you could argue that a 3mil NIL deal guaranteed at ND would be better than a second round deal if he had that sort of grade.

I don’t think it’s a foregone conclusion Price leaves IF we can come in big with NIL.
