Disagree. It's the players and the students coming together. I believe it started as the players way of saying thanks to the students for standing through the entire game to support them. It's a unifying moment, and it shows solidarity. That's part of the reason it's a big deal when a player walks out beforehand.

Amongst the field with all the players that dressed, all the coaches and those in the operations, the cheerleaders, and the media.... he somehow noticed Jaylen Sneed was one of the 100, 150 or so that wasn't there?

Freeman him self may not have seen him leave but a staff member did. And no staff member is going to hide that from the boss.

He's been surpassed on the roster. ND will be fine if this shakes out, although I'd love to see Sneed put it all together and thrive this year (and stick around if he does so).

As much as I want to see Sneed succeed here, his biggest enemy is himself. He's been given the opportunity and if he decides to transfer the LB position is still in great shape.

There are parallels for Sneed with both Liufau and Asmar Bilal - talented athletes who needed awhile to learn how to play linebacker at this level. But once they put it together they were quite good.

I hope Sneed puts it together while he’s still wearing a gold helmet, because he’s even more talented an athlete than those two. But unlike when Bilal and Liufau were here, we now have younger guys behind him who are almost as athletic and seem to be figuring it out faster.

This is a good problem to have.

I can’t find a good video clip but in the play where #1 made the int…. Sneed bullrushes though two OL to put backside pressure on the QB. Pretty damn impressive effort IMO.

Why? They rotated 5 this year.
