That is certainly impressive. I'm looking forward to seeing his progress in action over the summer and senior season. He has a very high ceiling.

He definitely looks the part. Hopefully he can add 15-20 pounds, while keeping his speed.

Well he looks all of 6'4" if not more.

True, but Keys is also like 5'9" and maybe some change lol. Seriously though this kid reminds me of Justin Jefferson...I'll take that any day of the week and twice on Saturdays.

He certainly looks the part and while those highlights are tough to watch, lol. They do show a guy with some serious upside. This is where ratings/rankings just become useless. There are 792 HS football players better than Amorion? Yea, right!

Does this ever end well?

It has been a good long while since we have had to sweat a committed player visiting elsewhere.

Couple stacks will do that. Bet they cut him loose.

ND is still pushing for three or four other WR’s, and they seem to have a decent chance with all of them...

I wonder if Walker is a potential DB and is feeling out situations elsewhere to see what’s what.

Yeah hopefully its like the Jack Nickel situation. For me walker was much more intriguing a prospect when he was the tall, high ceiling prospect on the same 7v7 team as rogers and brown. Now that we have more or less been eliminated by the two cornerbacks my level of upset at this is less.

Have to remember the human element here, would any of y’all want to pick your college visiting no where else, especially given the opportunity? Maybe he’s hit another southern school before COVID but I’m sure the staff understands wanting to at least see a few places. In the long run, you want a kid confident in his decision not committing during a pandemic and never seeing anyone else.

The staff will treat him like he's not committed and move forward. There is no point in saving a spot for someone who hasn't shut it down.

It rarely ends well which sucks because I like Walker. Dude is 6'3" with legit speed on the field. Oh well. Hope they can hang on to him. If they can't hopefully it makes more room for the Merriweather/Andre Greene/CJ Williams of the class.

Rarely ends well. A bummer as I really like Walker but the I think we’ll be fine at WR. I’m assuming Anderson commits and then things get really interesting for a kid that’s “committed” but entertaining other schools this much.

This is where I’m at. Can’t imagine. Maybe he committed to ND making the best of a totally unknown future situation. Can’t fade on a kid for that.

Singer also added the context I was wondering was the case, his teammates all visited there too yesterday. So is the door 100% shut? No but I think there is circumstance to consider

"Definitely. They have definitely gained some ground in my recruiting process. I've seen a lot of good stuff, and I'm glad I was here today to check Ole Miss out for myslef," related Walker.

It’s not the visit that’s the issue it’s the comments after the visit. He’s making it public that his recruitment isn’t over. If this was just a visit for fun with his teammates then there wouldn’t be a need to make his recruitment seem like a fluid situation. He could just say, I went with my teammates but I’m 100% committed to ND.

Who is thinking he just went for fun with his teammates?

This.

Committed guys travel with their 7v7's or HS teammates all the time. That's no biggie. When recruiting related exit interviews pop up that don't nip any speculation in the bud, then things get cloudy.

I have no beef with giving kids a bit of a leash coming off of Covid. I also have no fear about if Walker goes south (maybe it already has?). Nic Anderson's coming and I didn't think that was optimal with Walker already aboard. In a good place with guys they can't say no to and I've got a gut feeling someone pulls a Brunell at Invasion and joins the race. There's more than enough pegs to fill the big/athletic WR spot.

I wouldn’t write this commit off just yet. We where able to keep Diggs who we all thought was gone. The CS will figure this out.

If it happens it happens. Guess in about a week we’ll have a better idea. Not losing any sleep over it.

Man is WR recruiting in a place so far. I have no clue how any of this is going to shake out.
