Crawford probably did the same one a couple times a week.Very rare to tear the same ACL twice
He goneIs Cane Berrong still injured?
I’m assuming that the staff will keep his role under the 4 game limit to preserve eligibility unless further injuries throw a wrench into those plans.even if raridon does play this season im sure his roll will be minimal specially with evans and staes.
He probably can take a medical for last year, that would still give him 3 years after this yearI’m assuming that the staff will keep his role under the 4 game limit to preserve eligibility unless further injuries throw a wrench into those plans.
'In 2018 there was an NCAA medical redshirt rule change. According to the Senior Associate Athletic Director for Compliance, Scott Young, “the NCAA has two requirements for a medical redshirt; the injury must have occurred in the first half of the season, and the athlete must have competed in less than 30 percent of the season. You must provide documentation of the injury, and it must be considered season-ending.”'I was going to say, he likely preserved a year last year, right? If so, he can’t do so again this year, right? We’re back to the 5 for 4 rules
I'd play him in 4 games then decide if you need him or not. Our WR depth is taking a hit and another big receiving option with a huge catch radius will probably not be a luxury in another 4 games. ]]I’d only play him in 4 this year redshirt him don’t really need him
If/ when he's healthy, could Raridon give ND 10 snaps at the boundary? Talk about a walking mismatch.I'd play him in 4 games then decide if you need him or not. In fact, we might need him badly.
That's exactly what I was intimating. If we want to ease him in, can we keep him out of the box and give him a few snaps detached? I trust the staff but he presents a lot potential for the offense.If/ when he's healthy, could Raridon give ND 10 snaps at the boundary? Talk about a walking mismatch.
It’s really difficult to do that at all let alone someone coming off 2 knee surgeries last 2 years… if/when he’s ready he’ll be inline blocker and someThat's exactly what I was intimating. Saw Eli vs Nc state in warmups and Vs Duke. He looks really good, no braces. But he didn't have a helmet after warmups vs duke so he clearly wasn't an option. I wonder if they just wait until after bye week?
I read that as he potentially could be ready by then, but doesn't mean they'll play himI believe I saw he's back for Louisville, per Freeman's presser last week. We will see if that holds true. They could use some help on the outside even if it's a handful of snaps.
I was really shocked we didn't do that vs duke as it was stated and video shows it that their lbs (especially)/safeties aren't very good in coverage. I really thought we'd have a bunch of passes to both TEs(not just evans), and to RBs, to exploit them focusing on the run.One solution to bad WRs could be using a second TE as a "jumbo slot"... would be interesting to see if either Evans, Staes, or Raridon could do that.
Greathouse was injured on Thursday. You want a coach to change the gameplan at the last minute, to something they hadn't practiced all week?I was really shocked we didn't do that vs duke as it was stated and video shows it that their lbs (especially)/safeties aren't very good in coverage. I guess that would have required Parker to create a game plan to exploit a teams weakness, and utilize your strength. What a concept. Is there anyone hear that wouldn't prefer we pass to staes instead of tobias right now?
Can you really blame Parker? Its really easy to forget about the TE room as a OC.....I was really shocked we didn't do that vs duke as it was stated and video shows it that their lbs (especially)/safeties aren't very good in coverage. I would also like to see that but against Elko it may have been necessary to use his blocking because of all the pressure Duke brought. Elko was probably more confident to bring pressure since our WR‘s room was depleted. I don’t remember but was Staes in when Evans caught his passes?I was really shocked we didn't do that vs duke as it was stated and video shows it that their lbs (especially)/safeties aren't very good in coverage.
