McNulty just started following him.

His Dad Scott played OL at ND in the early 2000's.

This kid is a serious athlete. His basketball film's really good at displaying +athleticism.

I'll throw a CB now.

Is their a master Crusader CB scoreboard? The tally is getting high

You know, no one's ever asked that.

I'll have to put that together once ownership sends me a 5 gal bucket of green M&M's and an official IE wife-beater with staff on the back

My first thought was Scott Raridon played for Nebraska, not ND. Actually both. Grandfather was a Husker All American and a strength coach at ND, among others. Son also named Scott played at ND but I remember nothing about him. They say he signed in 2002 which means Eli was probably born in South Bend.

Yep. Grandpa and Uncle (John) played in Lincoln.

Thanks for adding Gramps worked for ND.

Bit of a tangent, maybe should be in the new ownership thread, but I'd definitely be interested in IE merch

This is the weirdest recruitment for me. Was friends with his dad while at ND and met this kid as a baby. He was up to his mom's waist basically at 1 year old. I am feeling so old right now. No I don't have inside info, we lost touch though his dad is a good dude.

I think Raridon has 1st rd TE potential. He’s just a very good athlete at that size. I love a class of Staes and Raridon.

Another guy where his coach swears he's a legit 6'6 without shoes. Being a legit 6'6 is a big difference than showing up 6'4 1/2. It will be interesting to see how tall/long some of these guys are when they actually get to campus.

Raridon is a good example of the incoherence of 247’s ranking system. The rankings are supposed to be based on where they expect a player to get drafted, not their level of talent and development at the moment.

Raridon is a legit 6’6”, possesses basketball athleticism, and is being heavily recruited by the top two TE-producing colleges in the country. Notre Dame has had 11 consecutive starting TEs drafted, including multiple 1st and 2nd rounders. Iowa recently produced Kittle, Fant, and Hockenson.

Keeping all that in mind, the odds seem pretty damn good that Raridon gets drafted. Yet his current ranking suggests that he (and Staes) won’t get drafted. That ranking only makes sense if you’re going off whether he’d be ready to immediately contribute.

I think the offer list leading to a ranking is a dangerous path to go by. Every Bama offer should be a 4 star or higher would align with that thinking. We also have 9 months till NSD, I don’t doubt Raridon gets a bump by then. My ”stars” or “rankings” thought is always they do matter.....by NSD.

Another high quality duo if we bring in Raridon and Staes. Lot of athleticism and potential to add to the TE room.
