Na, Charlie Batch offered him $1,000,000 to play for Eastern Michigan, he's gonna be an Eagle

If Caleb goes to Eastern Michigan he is easily my top pick in my college football fantasy next year; homie would put up big numbers at Eastern Michigan.

ND's gotta get over this kid. He made the right choice for him and now he'll have a heisman QB throwing to him. On to the next one 'cause that's all we can do.

Yea they do! I would sure hate to be a fan of those bums! Now proceed to make a comment about how you’re a true fan that’s a realist and definitely not a troll…

Do you... do you think it was an ND fan that made that posted the video?

Loy had a good premium with him. One kind of have to respect comment hope is okay to post:

”the end goal and I play football to get drafted at the end of the day. I'm not a 4.3, 4.2 guy and I'm not going to go run a Will Fuller '40' and I'm not 6-5 and I'm not going to walk in the room and look like Chase Claypool, so I need to be able to catch the football and I need to be able to show my production on the field”

I mean that is pretty honest with yourself. Resulted in the easy decision but he could be correct in the end

If CJ didn’t sign with ND because he didn’t think they could develop someone with his tools, why did he verbal to ND when nothing changed with the coaching he’d get from verbal to decommit?

Just say what changed was USC’s situation, kid.

Yeah, I'm not buying it. It's a little bit of truth to form a narrative. I won't be posting in this thread again unless we get to see him destroyed by ND.

Not a fan of how everything was handled, but I also don't think he's totally wrong either.

Here's the thing about that comment....while it may be true, I don't see how going to play for Lincoln Riley makes the situation any better.

Here is a list of WR's that have been drafted from OU since LR has been there...

Sterling Shephard
Dede Westbook
Hollywood Brown
CeeDee Lamb

Four WR's drafted. I honestly don't think his game resembles any of these guys either. All but one were drafted to be the nifty/quick receiver that could potentially beat you over the top. That's nt CJ and he, at this point, doesn't have the complete package of CeeDee Lamb.

Honestly, I think he is more of a TJ Jones type WR. I think anyone can get value of that type of player, NFL or otherwise. But I don't think LR's offense is one that will get him any more NFL love.

Didn't we sell him on being used like Keenan Allen? Agree with much of you here in that while what he said is true, that truly wasn't the reason why he chose the condoms....

Coulda been a less dynamic Michael Floyd as an upperclassman. I still liked Von McKinley's HS career and how he translated as a prospect at ND more.

Wish he'd have stayed on but Tobias put him on 4 year blast where he belongs so welcome to villainhood ya joker.

Hopefully the new WR coach will bring more energy and if Rees is a lazy recruiter he will get squeezed out.

Saw 58 snaps in 8 games with 4 catches. But that means he didn’t RS and that was 8th out of USC WRs in snaps and 9th in receptions
And they are bringing in more transfer who will play over him. And bring back a lot of WR talent, he won't see the field much as a Sophmore

“so I need to be able to catch the football and I need to be able to show my production on the field”

Kid was sold on USC throwing it all over the yard but in reality he was just a chess piece in Riley and Mater Dei’s relationship probably.

ND sold him immediate PT in the slot which considering Avery Davis ended up hurt….

Was this a random bump? Because there’s definitely smoke of him transferring

Well, at least he got to not produce in that high powered offense he wanted to be a part of.
