Well actually I saw the post above by T-Boone mentioning it only being able to be seen in South Bend so I thought maybe there is a big giant light shining into the sky when projecting commitments. Since I no longer live in the area I just thought I’d ask.

It's actually a great idea, They should buy one of those special events searchlight arrays and mount it to the NW corner of the stadium. When someone commits, they light up Touchdown Jesus and the Golden Dome while blasting the Fight Song on the stadiums PA system and showing the recruits announcement on the Jumbotron.

Tuihalamaka adds a physical presence who can set the tone between the tackles, a pad popping ferocious player who shows change of direction ability and burst on film. Adding him to guys like Aiden Gobaira, Tyson Ford and Joshua Burnham makes for a potentially intimidating group inside the box.

An interlocking ND bat signal would really be an endearing gesture towards the townies who believe South Bend would still exist without the University…like Pete Buttigeig.

My first impression was more Vontaze Burfict, in a good way. It just seems like Tuihalamaka is, at the same stage of their careers, bigger physically and a more athletic. Taking nothing away from Coney as he was my favorite linebacker during his time starting at ND.

Yea, some of the heights and weights for JR have been kind of crazy. I've seen 6'3 and well into the 230s which would be insane because he looks slender in his midsection still.
