That’s the biggest issue. Found out his brother is a freshman at Penn which is cool. I thought he’d been to Clemson 3 times but I didn’t know he’d been there that many times when I looked it up. Hopefully he ends up Irish cause the staff is busting their tails with him. Also he’s 2h30m from Clemson and a 1h30m direct flight from Charlotte to South Bend. I really hope he lets this play out longer. I know there’s an angst to get it done with but neither staff is moving off of him and he can just take his time until the late summer and maybe sneak a visit in to ND. It’s easy for me to say with 3 phone calls a day coming from ND and Clemson probably which has to wear on somebody. We’ll see. I’m keeping my hopes up.

FYI, I found the trip totals. Could’ve been more prior to 2017 as a kid to Clemson but this is all I’ve found. He’s been to Clemson 6 times! That’s a lot of trips

Sorry but I’ll find the articles tomorrow. There’s one interview with Phil Mafah saying he met Shipley on his March 7th visit which is odd cause I never saw anything anywhere about Shipley going but Mafah was on campus and said he met Shipley. The older ones are camp articles that mention Shipley attending. 247 is not great at tracking all the visits but it’s an impossible task to keep up with every dude.

Pretty sure he thanked everyone at ND and I imagine he let all the ND reporters he was picking Clemson. Hence why everyone is reporting this in last half hour.

Didn’t work out and with him only visiting once it was never gonna happen. But absolute kudos to Taylor for keeping us in this one and get him to really think about coming to ND. I haven’t seen the staff recruit a kid this hard since they went all in for Demetrius Robertson. Everyone gonna be mad but probably none more then Lance Taylor. I’m glad that man is our RB coach because he’s shown he’s willing to do whatever it takes.

Good luck to Shipley at Clemson, I will never root for them but Will seems like an easy kid to root for.

Only complaint about Taylor is his seeming lack of effort in relation to other RB options. If a top recruit is chosing between ND and a factory they should be working the other options a lot harder.

Unfortunately, I feel like they barely even know. They went all in here and got burned by it. Now going to have to start from behind with new offers or rekindling prior relationships. Bet it’s a 3 star lol.

That's a ridiculous depth chart in 2021. Hopefully he can push through all the bodies on the depth chart. Seemed like a no brainer to me looking at that depth chart vs. ND's, but it is what it is. I did hear something that Donovan Edwards is very open to schools right now without anyone breaking away with that race so we may have a shot. Corey Kiner is basically a backup for Ohio State so he could be in play. Also, Prophet Brown could be an option out on the west coast. We'll see but luckily numbers aren't important in this class. I'm just hoping it becomes an impact prospect for ND in the 2021 class.

Loy says the next move is to go all-in with Donovan Edwards. Really excited for us to throw the kitchen sink at him for six months and have him commit to fucking Michigan. Maybe we can swoop up our third option before he jumps from Georgia Southern to Tech.
