Not saying Diggs doesn’t enjoy giving back on his own, but I believe it checks some boxes for what he then gets from FUND too

He is #3. Feels like the first time in at least a decade we've had a real leader carry the tradition of that number. Not a slight to Avery Davis or any of the others, I just think he's done a great job on and off the field as an underclassman as far as being a leader. He was always picking up Estime after the fumble struggles earlier in the year and pumping him up when things were going well, motivating his teammates, love to see it.

Avery Davis is the epitome of a leader

I've always spoken highly of AD as a man of character and the ultimate team player, but he never had 1,000 yards from scrimmage. That's the kind of play we used to see under a #3 at ND. That's all I'm saying, it's nice to see a playmaker at the position again. Love AD, Diggs is contributing big both on and off the field.

I never begrudge an RB leaving early. They only get so much tread on their tires. Both Diggs and Estime could go. But also I don’t see either of them getting drafted all that high.
Maybe this is one of those where you take care of your guys via NIL and they come back senior year to be captains.

Agreed on both ends. If both backs have good years they should go pro. Estime would be the more juicy back in my opinion. A much smaller Henry but a fullback that runs like a RB nonetheless.

I wouldn’t say much smaller. They are built nearly identical. Yes I know Estime is 20 lbs lighter.
