Out for the year with an ACL injury per BK.
Bummer. Not necessarily for this year but I think he really had a shot at Nickel duties for next year.

with cj williams decommitting does the coaching staff consider moving jojo over to wr. the kid has a lot of speed.
Sounds like they'll do the portal. It's pathetic that a P5 team competing for playoff spots has to rely on the portal just to keep position numbers above water.

ND isn't the only school facing roster issues. Clemson / OU / USC have had it way worse than us.

Even Alabama had to turn to the portal at WR with Jameson Williams.
Getting back on topic, JoJo seems promising at CB and should stay there IMO. Need that speed in the secondary.
Did they or was he just too good to pass up. He's probably their best receiver, not just a warm body.
They needed him. Holden and the other underclassmen were not ready to start and had no vertical threat without Williams. Ex the Auburn game.
This isn't the appropriate thread for this discussion but oh well. The thing that bothers me the most is that the staff KNOWS that the wide receiver group needs to get better in order to take the next step. What do they do? They damn near lay a goose egg. Someone's head needs to roll.
Part of being an adult is freedom to make good decisions and mistakes. Regardless, I just saw what the above posted from O’Malley sounds like more than football.Freshman shouldn't be allowed to enter the portal without a coaching change. Predictable that undergrads who are low on the depth chart at the start of their careers would make dumb, short-sighted, decisions.
What did Jojo do?
