Awesome pick up!!!!!!
Big to be able to pull this kid from LSU in the last hour.
Did they pull him or did LSU drop him?
I've heard conflicting things...

Probably depends on who you ask. Gee didn't want/like some of the drama coming out of Baton Rouge..... according to him.
LSU fans saying he couldn't beat out the competition so he walked.......I'm sure the truth is somewhere in the middle 🤣🤣🤣🤣
ISD has a nice update after talking to a beat writer that covers LSU. The beat writer is adamant that he is not being "processed out" of the recruiting class. There was talk of him starting at linebacker and that was the start of him looking around.
imo the DE haul was a huge swing and a miss. This class is truly amazing. Seems we got at least 10 quality starters.

I made the point the other day that the ratings agencies don't rate ATH's or DB's for these 5 DB systems accurately.
Then, today, I read Barton's comments on Gee and it solidified that. He said he was not an elite athlete but a good one for a S. Which is true, because he probably won't be a S but a Rover.
Then you read Prister's and O'Malley's comments and you see things like "Three star? No way." Or, "exceptionally fast Rover or a Big S." And that's the point. Gee's rating is based on being a big S, not a very athletic hybrid defender. The 247 gang have him rated as the 7th best player in the class behind Rubio (high praise) and think it's crazy he's a 3 star.
That’s the sad thing. People think we aren’t getting the athletes we need to win a championship because he isn’t rated a 5*. Coaches know more about recruits than analysts by a country mile.

The story has now made it's rounds, that Gee and his family actually re-initiated the contact with ND. They hadn't been in contact for months but when Gee decided to take a step back from his LSU commitment his parents wanted him to check out ND. That's when things got rolling. Joseph picks up the W thanks to Mama and Papa Gee.
I really like it when they want to be here.

We handy out Benzie's now?? We Bama, boys!
Rovers seem to grow on trees. I don't know why he'd go to Rover since we always have plenty of athletes for that position.
If he can't play safety, neither can Justin Walters because Gee is noticeably faster, at least in their film. I'll predict he sticks at safety. Losing Hamilton, a long range safety will be hard to do and I think Gee can be a poor man's Hamilton.
Poor man? Dude's rolling in a Benz? What's he need a Bentley?
OUCHThat's just a C Class. Designed and marketed to those who feel an Accord is just not enough.

Easy come, easy go? Still hurts to lose a 4- star talent at a position of need. Wonder if NIL is involved.
