I pray that Rees and Buchner had this shit planned out all along. This would be freaking amazing.

This whole sequence never made sense to me - BUT if this was the plan...Wowzers

I doubt that was the plan all along.

From what I've gathered over the past couple of years..... Buchner was great in practice and scrimmage. He would do things that would leave the other players and coaches pretty amazed.

I believe that Rees and Freeman thought Buchner would be great his sophomore year. He wasn't, but I think the coaches figured he was young and just needed to work through the in game jitters. Then he got injured.

I think Rees still thought Buchner could be that guy that amazed everyone in practices and scrimmages and encouraged him to come to Bama.
