Best QB prospect ND has had committed since Wimbush. Really hope this still sticks 2 years from now, he has almost unlimited upside as a college QB.

I thought it was ballsy of the staff to go all in on Buchner while guys like McCarthy were basically begging for an offer. It was a gamble that Notre Dame doesn't win. I thought they were foolish to do it. But I'm definitely glad they proved me wrong. This is big time.

This x 2 even though I said his Fr. film was my 2nd favorite ever next to Reggie Bush's. lol

I'm going to call it now. Buchner's last two seasons in South Bend will be Steve Young 2.0. He'll also end up a five star though 5*Tyler doesn't flow like 5*Phil.

And this plea goes out to JJ McCarthy... Reclassify to 2022 and go play a year of prep ball for Coach Voulgaris at Noble & Greenough.

And best of all... since he never officially issued an Respek My Decision tweet about LAX, ND just officially flipped a scUMmer!

Matt Freeman is texting me like a crazy ex gf right now. He says this is a 10 star recruit.

Asian jokes aside, he thinks Bucher is a potential all timer. He couldn't be higher on him.

Personal opinion, I think he's as good of a prospect as we've had committed since Wimbush... with another year of film, maybe I'll say since Clausen.

Wimbush obviously didn't quite live up to the potential many saw. Buchner has the tools to be the best college QB ND has had in a lonnnnnnnng time... if he makes it to the finish line and signs with ND. He has almost unlimited upside at the college level given his athleticism and arm talent.

Crazy thing is he would be for sure a top 5 lacrosse recruit in his year and possibly the #1 player in the entire country. Who are other athletes so gifted that they're legit 5-star recruits in two sports? Kyler Murray? LeBron James if he'd gone to college? Bo Jackson? Whatever list you come up with, it's good company.

Whoa. I hope you're right. But whoa.

We all know how great Clausen was. But if you got to see him in person, it takes it to a whole new level of how easy he made the game for WRs. I watched him 3x in person, and everytime I left thinking it was incredible how the WRs never had to adjust or move to the ball. It was like he was playing laser tag and just pointed the gun and the WRs magically had the ball without breaking stride. It was something else.
