Kebba has looked a lot better than last year. He stills has rocks for hands but he is getting after it.

Overall team is definitely improving we should be right around .500 come conference tourney time which could put us in the 8-9 game. Next year will be the real test. The conference is definitely not what it used to be and we could shoot up the ranks (like Louisville has just done) with the personnel we have and are getting. Post play is our biggest weakness, hope the recruit Ahneman can be an immediate upgrade.

It’s the same thing that happened to Virginia. Their coach couldn’t keep up/navigate NIL properly. Both teams had their roster raided by other teams with NIL offers.

Hard to make sense of this whole season. Every game is such a wildcard.

This team just lacks talent, They got killed in the portal this year and missed on all of their top targets. I think you have to give Shrewsbury four years because the NIL for basketball just got in order In the summer, and is reflected in the incoming recruiting class.

The last time the basketball team was ranked, Brandon Wimbush Was the starting quarterback. It’s brutal how fans have largely checked out.

I've seen a few games this season, and they are painful to watch. Sloppy play with lots of turnovers, no rebounding, and their best offensive player in the paint is the shortest guy on the court. Last night Burton had a look on his face that he has had enough.

He’s a flight risk no doubt. NBA or better school I don’t know. He’s good but he’d better if he could pass better and more often after he beats his man.
It’s as much a problem with his teammates as it is him. Offense is not structured for teamwork more one on one play.

When I was watching yesterday I felt like no one wanted to play, where has Tae Davis been the past few games? They get pass happy at the top of the key.

This team has no energy to play. Shrews needs to show this team some film from the Grant-Connaughton days.

Probably miss-seeing this, but the game that I watched a lot of had the coach's son gunning the ball in what I felt were non-team-play actions. That would bother me as a player. Hopefully this observation is false.

So the players are worse than the coaches? Losing to such shitty teams is embarrassing. Odd how occasionally they look like a team that can play and actually have. Brey has never had a team this shitty to lose to such shittier teams. If we don’t have a winning record at a minimum within two more season can this guy. Tournament in 3 or can him then too. We used to hold serve on almost all our home games. Our ladies are always competitive. Maybe we should switch coaches?

I like Shrews but man is he giving ND fans second thoughts. There are two consistent players on this team. Burton and surprisingly Kebba has been decent. Zero offensive pressure, a struggle to get to the basket, having to force horrible shots, can’t beat a zone defense, ND defense is deep in a hole. How many turnovers last night - 20? So uncharacteristic of a Notre Dame basketball team.

It’s embarrassing. Brey could coach, there’s no denying that. There is either zero fight in this team or Shrews really doesn’t know what he is doing.

Unwatchable. Boring. Chickens with heads cut off.

It shouldn’t take 3+ yers to rebuild in the NIL/portal era. Shrews’ rebuild is looking like a guaranteed 3 year minimum.

ND is a 1 man show with Burton and if you stop Burton you beat ND. Last night's commentators couldn't stop praising Burton.

Someone other than Burton needs to step up-- Shrews is an inconsistent 3 point shooter, Davis/Kemba needs to play better inside, we are missing Allocco's leadership.

In the offseason Shrews talked about taking more off of Burton's shoulders and practicing with a 24 second shot clock.

This team has gotten worse the past couple of weeks, I like Shrews, I want to believe in Shrews, but next year's class doesn't guarantee a thing.

ND should've won this game.

You have to give Shrewsberry a few more years to turn the program around, but the early returns have been pretty bad. I hope things improve next year.
