Aaron Rodgers is the end game for QB greatness discussion for me... he's clearly on the greatest ever short list for me but he will never get that level of rec largely because his team has been consistently average at best during his career. Team game boys, team game.

Shoutout to the Indians for trolling Collin Cowherd. Shoutout to Baker for being a mid-20's dude having fun.

This is how I feel, and I'm not even a Browns fan:

He looks like he's put on a lot of weight since OU. He's great for the city, but I have a feeling this isn't going to end well.

NFL.com's Top 15 players; how they ranked on Rivals...

1) Aaron Donald: 3-star (5.7)
2) Drew Brees: no data, but no interest from in-state schools; UNC said no, landed at PU
3) Khail Mack: 2-star (4.9 rank), went to Buffalo
4) Patrick Mahomes: 3-star (5.7)
5) Todd Gurley: 4-star (6.0), no.5 RB
6) Tom Brady: no data, seen as a baseball prospect; not heavily-recruited in football
7) Anonio Brown: unranked (Central Michigan)
8) Aaron Rodgers: 3-star
9) Julio Jones: 5-star (6.1); no.1 WR
10) Von Miller: 4-star (5.8); no.15 WDE
11) DeAndre Hopkins: 4-star (5.8), no 12 ATH
12) JJ Watt: 2-star (5.4)
13) Michael Thomas: 4-star (5.8), no.4
14) Alvin Kamara, 5-star (6.1)
15) Bobby Wagner, 2-star (4.9), Utah State

Wow, interesting how many SUPER STUDS slipped through the cracks. Basically 5/14 ranked 4 stars or higher. Only two identified as what they were, and you would have had to have been blind not to give those two 5-star rankings.

To me, the lesson is that they are judging kids based on some pretty easy to identify criteria (height, weight, speed, high school success, 7 on 7s, and camps), but they don't really have any special insight into who will pan out or why.

This is why I am not as high on Trevor Lawrence as some... The team he has around him makes a HUGE difference.

"No data" on two Hall of Famers. That's something else.

Unless he learns to drink a beer he will never be in the HoF

I assume it's more because they were prior to Rivals and Co. archiving data like they do now.

Regardless of that, it's pretty remarkable that those two wound up where they did. Brees in particular. Too short, not wanted by any DI Texas schools and winds up with Tiller at Purdue to make Bob Davie's life more miserable than it was.

Great story, but only has the one Super Bowl to Brady's 15 or whatever it is.

• Oakland Raiders wide receiver Antonio Brown's foot problem might be contributed to frostbite from using a cryotherapy machine. (Pro Football Talk)

Rest of the NFL: "Bring that high school offense on ratbirds..." Even if it works for a while, home-dude is just gonna get hurt eventually.

Tranquil, Kizer, ESB, Dex and Boykin all had some churn last night. It's great seeing all these guys continue to have success.

TJ Jones and Love also made a positive impact last night. Love gave up some catches but he seemed to be in position most of the night. They had him all over the field from snap 1.

Sounds like Pittsburgh fleeced Oakland, not the other way around. Not only does Kevin Colbert know how to draft receivers, he knows when to get rid of them too. Gruden traded away a 3rd and 5th round pick for someone who cries until he gets what he wants. He overpaid him too. Meanwhile, in Pittsburgh, Juju is primed to have a huge year. Trading Mack and trading for AB, you're doing great!

If I am Mayock, I'd trade AB to the Jets, reuniting him with Bell. The Raiders lose their $1 million bonus, get out of paying him the $30 million in guaranteed money, and lose their two mid-rounders, unless they can get a pick from the Jets. Brown's Contract

Then sign Michael Crabtree, who was let go by the Ravens. :) Oakland released Crabtree after two seasons in a four year $35 million contract extension. Then Crabtree was signed by the Ravens to a 3 year $21 million contract, lasting one year there.

The Raiders could use a “five-day letter,” compelling Brown to return to the team within five days or face the consequences include shutting him down for the entire 2019 season and avoiding having to pay him the $14.5 million he’d be owed.

Full disclosure: Not a Raiders fan

Acamp, sounds like both Os are looking good in the Colts/Browns joint practice. I'm surprised the Colts' O is looking good without Luck.

I get where AR can be difficult, but I did see where a whole list of 'experts' are jumping on AR for not being 'a winner' or how he 'needs to prove he can make the playoffs'...

I'm so over the sports media putting everything on the QB... you could not take ANY QB from this era, put him on the Packers in place of AR and have them win more rings. The GB roster has had huge holes in it for years now... yet it's his fault for not magically willing them to the NFC title game every single year? As if Manning and Brady and Co just lead these trash rosters to titles.. no, they lead teams with coach coaches, top defenses and good overall rosters to rings. But now AR is this overrated trash has-been because the Packers front office screwed the pooch. Dear Lord... I hate the NFL echo camber prob more than any other sport.

Rodgers isn't blameless in the Packers' recent turmoil but I don't blame the man for his discontent.

Ted Thompson built the Pack into a machine in 2009-2012 with his drafts, then got complacent and let too many in-house guys go thinking he could continue to reload through the draft. He ignored free agency, he let key restricted FAs go instead of paying them, and burnt down the house he built.

2015 may have been one of the worst drafts for any NFL franchise in the past decade:

Rd 1 - Demarious Randall, CB - Gone.
Rd 2 - Quinten Rollins, CB - Gone.
Rd 3 - Ty Montgomery, WR/RB - he flashed but gone.
Rd 4 - Jake Ryan, LB - Gone.
Rd 5 - Brett Hundley, QB - Gone.
Rd 6 - Aaron Ripkowski, FB - Gone.
Rd 6 - Christian Ringo, DE - Gone.
Rd 6 - Kennard Backman, TE - Gone.

Same time frame, he passes on retaining guys like Micah Hyde, Davon House, etc. I place most of the blame on Ted Thompson, plenty on McCarthy, and a small amount on #12. ACamp nailed it. Brady, Brees, Mahomes, whoever wasn't winning the NFC North with that roster last year.

I think Murray isn't a NFL QB

I tend to agree and have said as much since he’s MLB/NFL announcement. I like KK well enough too but yeah,... I don’t think he’s a NFL coach either.

Demarious Randall was a great pick, they just insisted on playing him at the wrong position.
