.. I .... Like what Rosen said...?? He should use that as a motivator, if he were, "I'm just glad it's over..." That would have been a much bigger red flag to me.
i like Rosen's attitude personally. am interested to see how he goes in the pro's.
My problem with it is that he seems so up-and-down with where he's at mentally.
In one interview he wants to play the chill intellectual (and he makes really valid points and has great conversation when he does that).
In another interview he acts like the guy with all the swag and like nothing can get through his exterior.
In yet another interview he acts like the pissed off guy with the chip on his shoulder.
Usually guys like that don't balance things well when they start to flare up or go off the rails.
A guy like Darnold is going to be chill 100% of the time, and he's not gonna get worked up about things. If he finally blows up, you know it's something legit. Mayfield is going to constantly be a threat to boil over, but at least you know that and can channel that whenever he flares up.
A guy like Rosen? You don't know what you're going to be dealing with on a day-to-day if things are going downhill. Is he going to pull the franchise along with him and keep the chip on his shoulder? Or is he going to turn into the detached guy that knows there are things more important than football out there when it becomes convenient?
