If we could finish with Irvin, Patterson or NFP and Solomon Tuliaupupu that would be a great finish and possibly keep us in the top ten.

If our new recruiting coordinator isn't at least looked about for our next HC position.... Then I'll believe we as the Irish Nation don't understand the politically correct side of being fans that we are.
FWIW, ND running a distant third to USC/OSU according to ISD.
Every thing I have read on247 states that Lea staying helps us greatly and Solomon was excited to hear he got promoted.
The post was made by Simmons.
I hope it's true. FWIW they said ND is 3rd after it being announced that Lea was the new DC. So they took that into consideration and still predicted 3rd.
Who knows though, recruitniks are all over the place this time of year. Especially when the kid is relatively quiet, everyone's guessing to some degree.

FYI - ND is actively looking for another DE in this class. Don't be surprised if some names pop up soon, most likely an under the radar guy that they think can play.
I would be happy if they land even a 3-star DE to this class. I think it's our biggest weakness, then OL, which may also still add a player.
If they get one more OL and even a 3-star DE that can play, this class is elite IMO.
There's just no way that's happening.
I think we end with Irvin, Boykin, Keys, and *hopefully* NFP. Too early to say one way or the other with Patterson.
style guys early that had ND interest and have been scrambling late without many good options... makes me think we have some more transfers incoming.I have absolutely no idea why they haven't went after Javontae Jean Baptiste. Funny thing is, he was one of Elko's first offers at A&M. Why would he offer at A&M and not ND? First thought would be academics, but he has a BC offer.

I noticed some action between former Syracuse LAX commit Casey Rogers and ND. Is ND making a run to get him on campus? Bama and OSU are.

That first back would be a non factor at 164 pounds.
This shows you what kind of year it is for recruiting. Quincy Patterson is a 6-4, 230lb old fashioned, dual threat QB that had something like 1500 pass / 1500 rush and 40 TD's playing for Solorio Academy on Chicago's Southside. He was an every down, two way player who played MLB (Don't have the stats) on D. He is a 4.0 student with offers from Yale, Princeton, Northwestern, Vandy, UVa, but also Penn St, Miss St, Mizzou, Iowa and ended up choosing VT over UNC today. If i were the coach, this is the type of QB I'd go for in between my Wimbush's and Jurkovec's, instead of 5-11, pocket passers who'll do nothing but pimp a clipboard. Any year you aren't scoring a high 4, you need an Arnaz Battle or Carlyle Holiday. He would have been a nice option to have next year if an elite QB doesn't want to come in behind Phil.
At least Kearney and Peloquin followed him.

If this was a dig at Ian Book, it didn't age too well haha. I would tend to agree tho, nice to be able to fall back on a Cardale Jones when your JT Barrett goes down.
Good catch. Didn't realize I didn't put them on it when they committed. I'll fix it later today. Thanks.Only saying this because it looks like the main page was updated post-signing day..looks like Lenzy and Luke Jones didn't make the commit list
