Have a feeling he's going to be a player. Heard really good things about him from my Indy buddy who had a couple of his games this year. His Northwestern offer tells me he might have been an option too.

Every cycle there are a few prospects that the staff has been communicating with, but we haven't heard much about. Brad Johnson, DE from South Carolina, seems to be one of them.

He is being recruited by Autry Denson and is looking to OV for either Miami or VT game.

CB is 100% for SC at this time

We, basically, shut down recruiting the position once CJ Holmes committed. I believe we kept some lines of communication open with guys like Robert Burns and a couple others. But it doesn't sound like we are really pushing for anyone at this time.

No doubt they take two next year. Besides Stepp's committment they have offered:

APB's Jalen Gill and TJ Pledger. Both of which Markese actively recruits.

There've only offered 3 other potential RB's besides those 3... Zamir White (#1 RB), Lorenzo Lingard (#2 RB) and FSU commit, Justin Watkins (#1 ATH). White's been on campus but there hasn't been much mention of any of their relationships with ND in a long time.

The recruits I'd like to see get offered are:

Maurice Washington - San Jose, CA (Oak Grove)
Trey Lowe - Portland, OR (Jesuit)
Jamal Elliott - Durham, NC (IMG Academy)
Ronnie Walker - Hopewell, VA
Ricky Slade - Woodbridge, VA

And I'd keep and eye on Saybein Clark of Bishop Heelan in Sioux City, IA

ND can't take a highly rated ILB. They no longer have a walk-on he can sit behind while he learns to line everyone up.

Was checking out 2018 SS/LB Brian AsaMoah's film and ran across Alonzo Booth's. Just going to put this here so I can come back in 4-5 years and go... told you he'd be in the NFL.

You'd have to think a guy this big (6-1, 245) who can move like that (1750 yds / 11ypc / 28TD) would be more valuable at MLB than at FB(?)

Oh, heading to BC or Navy unless IU steps in and saves future Irish defenders.

I think he's trying to get to his 85 man 2017 roster. If it went down just like that, I'd take it. Although I hope Cage will be cleared to play.

I think there'll be two transfers also.

exactly this season is what it is at this point we have to get to 85 and move forward i hope cage can play but when you hear second opinion that causes some alarm for me i thought about transfers but not sure who they would be

Pouncey and Adebo always been on the watch list to leave for me. CJ Holmes a little also, you never know Black may take him some place. I completely forgot about Young though. IMO order for most likely to decommit, which really means nothing as I have no inside information just my guess.

End of season, coaches can start to eval new offer candidates. The late bloomers or kids they were on the fence about have new film and a whole season to see growth.

Time to cut losses and offer some Willingham three-star talent!
