Keep in mind that was from a single game...not a whole year cherry picked.
He needs to put on 30 lbs, but an athlete with his frame could come in at 235 with mo problem. He will not be called upon to start right away. He will have at 1-2 years to see how Jaylon gets it done on and off the field. Hopefully he then grabs the torch.
I agree and like I said, I'm glad to have him, but while it may be one high school game rather than cherry picked highlights, he seems to get lost in traffic and certainly did not stand out, let alone dominate.
Somebody else (not Irishman77) mentioned that he's a high school kid, so of course he needs to get stronger..but in that video he is not a high school kid playing against college kids. He is a high school kid playing against less heralded high school kids, most of whom will not be playing competitive football after high school. I don't think against that competition it is unreasonable to expect to be able to play much more physically, defeat blocks and get down hill.
You can trust BK and the staff all you want, it's basically the only choice we have, however that does not mean I am not entitled to state what I see in the video that was provided just because it is not all peaches and cream.
