I guess my point is, I understand having had a beef with the first lady, but I just don't understand how reducing your frustration to something that immediately invalidates your point, and destroys the world's view of your character...helps anything. I don't think he ever had any burning desire to be president. He was willing to accept the nomination (which was pretty much offered to him) in '96, but wasn't driven to be president the way, let's say, Hillary was. His wife definitely DID NOT want to be first lady and have what little private life they had taken away by him being president.
