Yeah, I keep seeing posts of people a month ago saying how DJT would hurt the country and the process and all that if he didn't accept the results. Same people saying it was rigged and need to do recounts.

Also, seeing Stein say can't guarantee $ pledged for recounts will actually go for recounts.

Yeah, this stuff is ridiculous. Calling out Trump for not accepting the election results...there's no hypocrisy here. I love Hillary's post concession speech, calling for unity, healing, and accepting Trump as President, but she's joining the recount movement and refuses to step up and call for an end to the protests/rioting. That's leadership.

Apparently it's not over... now Clinton joining up with Stein for Wisconsin recount...

Thought Trump's surrogates comment was spot on:

First comment from Trump senior adviser Kellyanne Conway on Clinton joining Wisconsin recount: "What a pack of sore losers." pic.twitter.com/fFAGRMn4FH
— Kevin Cirilli (@kevcirilli) November 26, 2016

This misrepresents what's going on right now. The Clinton camp's stance is not that there was voter fraud or that there should be a recount. Their stance is that now that there is a recount, they want to be represented.

The only major party politician who is actually questioning the results of the election right now is Donald Trump.

Here's the statment:

https://medium.com/@marceelias/list...-an-audit-and-recount-2a904717ea39#.ry74q9rs1

Because we had not uncovered any actionable evidence of hacking or outside attempts to alter the voting technology, we had not planned to exercise this option ourselves, but now that a recount has been initiated in Wisconsin, we intend to participate in order to ensure the process proceeds in a manner that is fair to all sides. If Jill Stein follows through as she has promised and pursues recounts in Pennsylvania and Michigan, we will take the same approach in those states as well. We do so fully aware that the number of votes separating Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton in the closest of these states — Michigan — well exceeds the largest margin ever overcome in a recount. But regardless of the potential to change the outcome in any of the states, we feel it is important, on principle, to ensure our campaign is legally represented in any court proceedings and represented on the ground in order to monitor the recount process itself.

TBF, I blame it on the media which, as usual, shows its bias for splashy headlines.

Saying "Clinton Campaign JOINS THE RECOUNT" moves more copy than "Clinton and Trump Campaign appoint representatives to monitor Wisconsin Recount"

No. Their stance is that the results of the election should be accepted, and that to not accept the results is dangerous to the very foundation of our nation. So they are putting their mouths where the money is by contesting the results of the election.

Huh?

I mean the operative point is that they are not contesting the results but given that the results are being contested they, like the Trump campaign, are taking a seat at the table.

If Donald Trump attended a KKK meeting, do you think ANYONE would buy into "If the process is already going to happen, we just want to make sure it is fair."? Or would they be accusing him of supporting the KKK?

If they aren't contesting the results, then why do we need a recount?

Whatever helps you sleep at night. I'm sure Clinton's camp had nothing at all to do with convincing Stein to raise the funds. Like everything with them, it's all coincidence all the time.

Jill Stein's twitter has approximately 20,000 tweets about this. Warning: she's legit crazy.

...I've seen a ton of suggestions for policy revisions so that the folks in LA and NYC can pick the president every 4 years. That seems totally logical...SMH.

I got one...

what say you have to have been the second place finisher in order to call for a state level recount? Ya know...have a dog in the fight?

Stein will end up raising more money over this issue than she did for the last half year of her campaign...while costing everyone else millions...millions she can't cover with the money she has just raised....what, you people think she is giving it back...hehehehe, YEA!

IMHO this isn't Clinton...I get her wanting to have someone present, because she actually DID have a dog in the fight.

This issue is being driven by the DNC trying to weaken Trump as much as they can, by any means necessary. The DNC benefits because they are the opposition party posturing for next cycle...anything they can do to de-legitimize Trump (seems like it should be easy) they will. I'm guessing the donations turn out to have backing by SOROS or someone of that ilk, and it is being coordinated by the DNC and its operatives...and spare me the lecture on what is legal...we are WELL beyond that discussion when it comes to Democrats, the DNC, PACS and money. Stein's "campaign" will keep the money as payment for being the puppet.

I don't think you need the DNC or Soros or anyone else to encourage Dems to give to this. Plenty of people would open up their wallets willingly if they thought it meant even a hail marry of avoiding a Trump presidency.

I also think Stein just wants to draw establishment blood (and her Twitter seems to confirm that). I think her end game may be to tie enough states up in litigation that Trump doesn't officially get 270 because the states blew the deadline. This is not a great scenario for the DNC- House Republicans still get to pick the Pres, but it might do damage to "The System" which seems to be Jill Stein's goal.

I don't think it will surprise anyone that I don't want to see Donald J. Trump become the POTUS. But he's going to. This thing has 0% chance of changing the results. But it has like 100% chance of increasing disaffection with the system and animosity on both sides, which is Stein's ultimate goal I think.

I saw an interview. She strikes me as someone put up to this because she is all over the place with her rationale...reminds me of a 13 year old who is frantically firing off excuses to justify following her friends in a "big people" decision....and not wanting or able to have to make a logical case nor face reasonable criticism.

It is clear now Jill Stein is no leader, and maybe she should tap Johnson's reserve.

Trump has a roughly 100% chance of winning Mississippi on Nov. 8, so I don't think it makes much sense for this to happen in the heart of one of the deepest red states in the country. Indeed, what makes the most sense is that some ignorant redneck did it, just as his father, his father's father, and his father's father did back when America was Great! Given the historical affinity of our white supremacist deep south countrymen to burning black churches and exactly zero evidence to suggest what you are saying, it seems like a pretty big leap to assume this fire was set by anyone but a Trump supporter. But, I will give you this ... both words that were spray painted on the side of the church were spelled correctly, so there remains a small chance that you are right.

Who didn't see this coming? How many false flag hate crimes have we seen perpetrated lately to "prove" it's the other side that's full of hate and intolerance?

Ya...well, like Trump said stuff, and he like had to do stuff. He is a revolutionary... a, like, ya know...Hero. I'm adding him to my 24/7 candle lit Homage to Mumia and Che'...I have both those t-shirts....think they'll do a tee shirt...WOW!

Yeah, I saw that earlier today. Apparently Ivanka handled it with poise & grace, something this dude is grossly lacking in. I never cease to be amazed at how those who preach tolerance & acceptance are the ones most likely to exhibit neither to anyone whose views differ from theirs.
