Not a fan of UVA hitting shots early. I've always felt like a strong shooting night carries over to the next night in these tournament settings with the confidence of shooting on a friendly/familiar rim.

Pflueger's defense tonight vs Guy so far tonight has been absolutely amazing. The whole team defense right now is looking great. We are scoring on them but if it wasnt for this tough D we are playing then we wouldnt be winning by this much or at all.

After hitting a 3 early in the 1st half, Colson "brushed by" Bennett. The refs soon after had to review whether or not it was a 2 or a 3, which gave the announcers time to replay the "brush by" and comment on it, how ND is too "classy" to do that, etc., etc. If it was intentional, it was ill-advised imo: save it for the players.

Early on in the game. Colson made a three right in front of UVA's bench. While celebrating the make, he seemed to take an angle that forced Tony Bennett to get out of his way. Bennett did not say anything, but you could see during the slow-mo replay that he was pissed.

Doris Burke & Sean Mcdonough made a big deal out of it, because there was a lot of dead air during a review on the shot by Colson. Seemed that they're reaching a little bit. I doubt Colson meant anything by it.

You shouldn't be brushing aside another coach. And, even if it was not intentional, you still need to actively stay out of the way of another coach.

I don't think it was egregious, but it looked like Bonzie was flexing a little with the line he took up the floor haha. I like the intimidation factor, for the record, no problem with it.

It's also unfortunate that they didn't show Bonzie's block on Guy. Just outstanding. But, they were VA highlights I guess.

That was the most enjoyable win all year. The team's effort on the glass and on defense was fun to watch. SV and Rex played superb man defense and Brey was on the money with his lineup management.

There are only a few coaches that I think could generate the same amount of success at ND as what Brey does and Bennett is one of them. Getting this win against him and UVA in the manner in which they did is quite the feat.
