Finally a game where we should be able to kick back to and remain comfortable with the entire game. Hope to see a little bit of John Mooney tonight.

I hope you're right! But still an ACC road game, just win baby! Hopefully the FSU win springboards us to a little winning streak against this string of lesser opponents. If so a win in the finale @Louisville would put us in position for at least double bye possibly #1 or #2 seed with other top teams facing more difficult opponents down the stretch.

I have no insider info, but he's not your prototypical NBA prospect. He's not rated in the top 100 prospects anywhere you look, so I don't think he would get drafted if he left early.

Just picked up my tickets for Saturday- first row right by the visitor entrance tunnel. Shamrock hat for the boy should get some reps.

This has me thinking, the lineup next year is a tough to guess.

Farrell has come on very strong this year, and is only a junior. I can't imagine him losing that spot.

2017 commit DJ Harvey is a top 50 recruit, does Brey plug him in at SF or let Pfueger start? IMO let one of Harvey/Ryan/Mooney start because of the lack of depth at G.

G: Farrell | SR, 14.2ppg/5.6apg
G: Gibbs | SO, 5.3ppg/2.0apg
F: Harvey | FR
F: Colson | SR, 16.7ppg/10.8rpg
F: Geben | SR, 3.5ppg/3.8apg

G: Pfueger
F: Ryan
F: Mooney

Vasturia and Beachem are 14ppg guys. I have no doubt Gibbs can do that next season, but can Harvey come in and be such a force from day one?

Unless Geben gets crazy good in the off-season then I don't want him starting. Small ball works and I think Mooney could surpass Geben next year anyways. Also Harvey is a monster he will play next year and it will be a lot

Speaking of which, we have two more scholarships to give out, correct? Are there any players we are targeting that we seem to have a good chance with?

Don't discount Djogo. I can't remember which reporting service, but I remember reading about how they thought that, if he was evaluated in the US, he would have been a high 3*/low 4* type player. Having Maker on his team actually hurt him.

6'7" and pretty fluid watching his tape. Will be a different type of player for us. Won't start, but I bet he gets some minutes next year.

I pray that Ryan is next years Farrell/Cooley/Harangody. Guy comes out of no where to play big minutes. Having him progress (and throw in Geben) would be huge.

Edit: And recruiting services had him listed as a point guard. He'll obviously play combo/off the ball here (I say obviously like I have any idea), but he'll help with depth.

I just hate our 2-3, and I don't get when we go to it sometimes.

If Rex can't stop a kid off the dribble hitting 3's, the solution is not to leave the kid completely wide open in our 2-3. How is that a better solution?

And maybe I've missed it, but have we switched screens like this before? We've given up probably 5 open bunnies or threes because of a bad switch.

Yes, they've had bad switches leading to bunnies or 3s before. Usually with Beachem or Farrell involved.

Three possessions in a row in which BC was basically encouraging the Irish to go on a run: missed two FTs, missed layup, missed three.

Not going to get it done.

Starting to get on a little roll here, and Farrell ties it with back to back triples

I turned the game on at half. This BC team looks verrry bad in these few minutes. What the hell happened in the first half?!

They were hitting everything thrown towards the hoop, it helped that ND was rarely within arms reach of them.
