Pretty pretty good comeback win in OT to open up ACC play. Vasturia hit a 3 with 2.5 left in OT for the 78-77 win.

That was after he missed a duece and grabbed his own rebound. He clutched it. Beachem coming in clutch with the steal on the imbound to seal the win.

Good win, but vj had a rough game overall and I really don't like that bonzie played 40. On the positive note, I liked what the bench did when they got to play and winning on the road is tough, even against a team that could open league play 0 and 4.

Kenpom's updated rankings has ND's best victory over #43 Northwestern and Pitt the second best, as #56. He has ND at #29. Outside of Cuse and GT, any victory over the next ten games would be the best win of the season based on his stats. The next 10 games are as follows:

Lville - #9
Clemson - #21
@ Miami - #30
@ VT - #31
@ FSU - #20
Cuse - #58
Uva - #3
@GT - #130
Duke - #7
@ UNC - #8

Clearly this run will determine ND's fate and there really is only one game that we are clearly better than the opposition and unfortunately that is on the road at GT. 5-5 would be a great stretch here and IMO should be the goal. Anything better is gravy and anything less than 4-6 would be tough to recover from. No matter what, I think the road is going to get bumpy and we all better buckle up just in case.

I think we should win 5 games out of,the next ten but I can see us losing 7 of them. Its gonna be an interesting month

Both Brey and Tom Crean dress casually (no tie) during games. But Brey actually seems relaxed and therefore matches his behavior with his dress. Crean paces the courtside like a criminal waiting for his verdict. (Brey also coaches talent up.)

I don't think this is a good match up for Colson with the multiple bigs from UL. So hopefully VJ and Vastoria step up to open up the middle. It will be interesting to see if the team can go for 40 minutes or fade the last 10 like against Purdue and Villanova.

Exactly can we sustain a lead if we have one that is. We are gonna need some good play from the bench like rex, Gibbs and Ryan. If Ryan can come in and hit a couple 3s I think it would be huge. He hasn't exactly been on fire as of late. VJ needs to pick his game up.

If Louisville gets 2x or 3x the FTAs we get, as happened vs. Purdue and Villanova respectively, we probably won't win.

Anybody know how to watch this game? ACC network says it's not available online.

Great to have a lead at the half but we are going to need VJ or someone other than Colson, Vasturia and Farrell to contribute in the second half. Louisville is really playing strong D inside so we will probably need some outside shots to fall in the second half. ND-Louisville games are always a battle and fun to watch.

Obviously our size vs. these sort of teams is a major problem. Just cost Colson two layups from right under the basket.

Also a stat that no one would have thought we would win is rebounding. We won 38-35 rebs. And beach had 2 pts! 2!! And we still won with defense and good shota for the most part. The refs were terrible too by the way
