Here is what I think are the accurate seeding scenarios for Saturday. We can be anywhere from the 2 to the 5 seed...

ND win: 2 seed
ND loss, Duke win, FSU loss: 4 seed
ND loss, Duke win, FSU win: 5 seed
ND loss, Duke loss, FSU win: 3 seed
ND loss, Duke loss, FSU loss: 2 seed*

*this is assuming that UVA and VA Tech each win at home and there is a 5-way tie at 11-7 in the conference, and that FSU would emerge from that tiebreaker as the 4 seed.......I believe this would also push Duke to the 7 seed for the record.....stupid tiebreakers

^this could all be completely wrong apart from us getting the 2 seed for beating Louisville, so let's just hope that happens.

FTFY. Otherwise checks out, including your asterisk.

But if WF takes down VA Tech (Collins is beastly), Duke gets bumped to a 5 seed even if they and FSU still lose. Of course, then Virginia becomes the 7 seed.

The only one that's incorrect is scenario 3. If FSU and Duke win, we're bumped to 5th seed, by virtue of the tiebreaker. We'rd 2-3 against the field, rest of the teams have at least .500 or better with 2+ wins each.

Fixed that, thanks!

Of course I reference that we can be the 5 seed and then mess up that scenario....

I really hate watching these games on an iPad - need to get another Roku just so I can get these things on a real TV at home - however inability to pause, rewind etc, drives me nuts. How can I have such a hard time picking up ACC games in the heart of ACC country?

Nice win. After a slow start we did what we should with those guys. VJ coming on at the right time, would be nice to see Steve get back into cold blooded assassin mode. Seemed to get him a lot more involved trying to kick start him which is a great thing to see.

Bonzi is the go-to slump killer - when we go dry just dump it to Bonz and let him work. Such a soft touch around the rim - you could see the BC bigs getting really frustrated with him and his unstoppable nature.

I think the most likely scenario is that ND ends up the three seed. I personally do not see FSU, UL and UNC losing back to back games, with the latter games being senior day. Of the three teams, there is only one home loss and that is UL vs. UVA in December.

SV has not been the same since the loss at FSU. Since then, he has had only two games making more than 40% of his 3pt attempts. But it isn't just the 3's....his 2pt attempts have fallen off as well. From the Lvill game to the FSU game, he had 11, 9, 9, 10, 9 2pt attempts per game. Since FSU, he has eclipsed 6 2pt attempts just once. I think he needs to be more aggressive personally.

Yep - he has been tentative for some reason. Up to last night I don't think he was touching the ball as much in the offense. Felt like Brey made some moves to get him more involved and hope it carries through the ACC Tourney. The dribble drives are much more effective than Farrell (IMO) with better kick outs and more of a threat to finish. Might be me, but seems like the adjustment is to have Farrell shoot those corner threes more and have Steve be the creator more often. I think Brey has sniffed this out and look forward to seeing what happens then next week with SV.

Shake the funk Steve! After such a great career I really hope he can find his mojo and finish like he deserves to finish.

Pretty amazing that he walked onto the football team after interhall, and walked on to the basketball team after Bookstore. The ultimate dream x 2

Lunardi updated his bracket today. He still has us as the #5 seed in the East region with a probable 2nd round matchup against Florida. I would like that matchup; Florida lost their best big for the year so I like the matchup even more. Nova is the #1 seed in that region. I would like a second chance against them. They would have to play Miami or MSU in the second round; I think Nova is the weakest #1 seed so I wouldn't be surprised if they got bounced in the 2nd round.

And Palm has us as a 5 seed as well in the East region with a probable second round rematch against Purdon't. Nova is the #1 seed in his bracket as well.

How awesome would it be if the NCAA committee just took Lunardi's bracket one year and said "yeah close enough, let's go get a drink!"

If Notre Dame played Purdue again...I think ND pounds them into the ground.

I think not. Just like Butler, I watch a lot of Purdue games. They are solid across the board. They can play big or small. Their weakness is going against a press. I would like to see Biggie Swanigan and Bonzie go at it. Would be a great game within itself.

Louisville favored by 8.
Seems a little steep since we beat them earlier in the year but whatever

More than holding their own on the glass, VJ already with 3 or 4 rebounds. They are getting some great looks on the other end too, just need to knock them down.

Farrell has taken 2 really bad early in the clock shots. Move the ball and get an open look.

Good couple of minutes from Geben, could be big today with Louisville's size
