I'm still confused about why we don't have a star lineup of basketball players. We're in a basketball-crazed state, within an afternoon's drive of several major metros. There have got to be more than a handful of amazing basketball players who aren't interested in one-and-doneing it, right?

Purdue and IU have pretty much locked down the state. Even Butler has a tough time getting the top kids from Indiana.

Voters typically just stick to last week's poll and see what you did.. It was going to be tough to get into top 10 but we should be...

All in all doesn't matter.. Beat FSU at FSU and you will be in top 8 next week

That game will be yuge

The funny thing is if we lose to FSU we will probably move down to the 20s again

If we go 2-0 this week I will be so happy to be 7-0 in ACC with wins over Louisville, 'Cuse and at FSU that I could care less if we are ranked at all.

Is ND basketball games usually a tough sell? I've been seeing a bunch of tweets lately from the ND marketing department practically begging fans to buy tickets.

Don't follow ND basketball that much, just guessed that back to back elite 8s would bring the fans.

Home games against good opponents (Duke, NC, Louisville, etc) sell out. But the other games are usually only like 80% full. The student section usually does a good job though

Going to be a tough game to win but anything is possible. I do have a hard time seeing us cover that 5 points. If it was at ND I'd like the chances of covering. Should be a decent game to watch regardless.

Love the optimism but no

They foul a lot (22 free throws a game for opposing team). And they are like 110th in turnovers. Seems like a good matchup for a team that doesn't turn it over and shoots over 80% from the line.

I don't get the pessimism, Florida State isn't an elite team. The only reason I could see ND losing this one is because of the road travel grind wearing down on them. ND has the type of team that would give FSU fits. I can easily see this as a victory as long as they hit their open shots and slow down FSU in transition. If they attack the basket a bit more than they usually do they'll spend the entire night on the free throw line.

Let alone two of your primary ball handlers are, what, in the top 10 NATIONALLY in FT %!

Isaac is a match up disaster for ND... He went for 17 and 12 against a big NC front court.. I feel like this game will look a lot like Purdue.. Where we can't stop him and we lose a close one

I think offensively ND will get to the basket and draw a lot of fouls (similar to the Louisville game) but defensively, because of their size, they'll have issues. It'll be another close one I feel.

If it is a close one, then I do like our chances, simply because of our free throw prowess.

Can't believe this game isn't on ESPN. Trying to get it on the Amazon firestick and and on my phone. Says the game is blacked out in my area. I live in NE PA. I'm so pissed right now.

ESPN 3 or whatever they call it now, should carry It. ESPNU has Bama v. Mizz It's friggin insanity at the greatest extent. Seems they knew they should try to hide this mess so far tho..
FSU Isn't that good as far as I can tell. The ref-tards will keep this closer than It should be.
