So the speculation is Nicky Baratti might be done playing football and we're going after another S in this class. Pure speculation but not one thats unfounded as this will be 3 shoulder surgeries.

ND offered Kahlil Haughton 3star S from Waco TX. Per Loy Baylor leads but sources say we could tighten the race.

And now ND has offered Hunter "Can't be tied down with commitments" Dale. Perhaps a Mod could change the title in his thread to (Offer), and that to his middle name.

Scout: Haughton OVed to OU last weekend and has visits scheduled to Baylor, Texas Tech and Arkansas. If he can fit ND in it is a possibility. Called it a big offer.

'Big offer' and 'might visit if I can fit it in' do not add up IMO. Not blaming you or the kid for saying that, just saying.

Any new, positive updates on Soso, Bilal, Wallace, Coney, or ESB? Still wish Cowart would come for an Official during a game week. I know Marshall is a heavy USC lean but he is still coming for a game, right?

Pretty interesting story here.

Ahmad Wagner (6-6, 215) from Huber Heights (Ohio) is committed to Iowa for basketball, but he he is starting to get noticed for football as well. Kentucky has already offered, OSU is interested, and Michigan/ND were in to see him last week. Elston came away impressed and made a call back "we've got to get a look at this kid right away." Per his coach the basketball/football option is being weighed but he seems to really enjoy playing football. His coach says he has a "fever" for it.

#ShamrockSoldiers15 Roundup - Irish Sports Daily

The 2014 high school season is in full swing and ISD is your home each Monday to see track how the 2015 commitments are doing this fall.

Running Back:
Josh Adams – Central Bucks South High School (Pa.)
Adams (pictured) ran wild Friday night with 328 yard on 33 carries and added three touchdowns. Central Bucks South (4-1) knocked off North Penn 28-27. The Titans will travel to Neshaminy (2-3) this week and Adams is sure to pop over the 1,000 yard mark. Adams currently has 938 rushing yards and 17 touchdowns in just five games in 2014.

Wide Receivers:
Miles Boykin – Providence Catholic (Ill.)
Boykin added two more touchdowns to his big senior season and his Celtics improved to 5-0 with 41-27 win over St. Rita. The four-star prospect finished Friday with five catches for 76 yards. Providence Catholic travels to Loyola Academy (4-1) for a showdown on Friday.
CJ Sanders – Notre Dame High School (Calif.)
Notre Dame (3-1) took their first loss of the season on Friday to California power Serra 28-23. Sanders returned a punt 50 yards for a touchdown in the first quarter. Notre Dame will look to get back into their winning ways when they travel to Oaks Christian (3-2) on Friday.

Jalen Guyton – Allen High School (Texas)
Allen is still chasing National Title hopes and improved to 5-0 with a 35-24 win over Marcus. Jalen Guyton led the Eagles with eight receptions for 180 yards and two touchdowns. Guyton has 713 yards receiving on 33 catches and averaging a ridiculous 21.6 yards a catch. Allen hosts Lewisville (2-2) Friday.

Offensive Line
Tristen Hoge – Highland (Idaho)
Highland traveled to undefeated Coeur d’Alene last weekend and left with a 13-10 win. The Rams will hit the road to Idaho Falls (1-4) this weekend.
Trevor Ruhland – Cary Grove (Ill.)
In another game of unbeaten teams, Cary Grove cruised to a 42-14 win over Huntley Friday night. The Trojans will play host to McHenry (2-3) this weekend.
Jerry Tillery – Evangel Christian Academy (La.)
It has been a tough senior season for Tillerys squad and Friday was no different in a 56-19 loss to St. Thomas Moore. Evangel Christian (1-4) will look to get to two wins on the year Friday as they host KIPP Renaissance (2-2).
Defensive Line
MicahDewTreadwayNDUM1Micah Dew-Treadway – Bolingbrook (Ill.)
Dew-Treadway (pictured) racked up two tackles, two sacks, forced fumbles and five hurries in a 50-14 win over Joliet West. Bolingbrook (4-1) will take the show on the road to Lockport (1-4) this weekend.
Elijah Taylor – Cincinnati Moeller (Ohio)
Moeller (5-0) won a tight game 13-7 against rival Cincinnati St. Xavier on Friday. Taylor and his defense led the charge by holding St. Xavier to just 213 yards of total offense. Moeller will travel to undefeated La Salle for a showdown this week.
Brandon Tiassum – Park Tudor (Ind.)
Park Tudor knocked off South Decatur 28-7 on Friday to get their first win of the year. Tiassum led the charge with six tackles, one sack, and two forced fumbles. The defensive lineman has now forced four fumbles in the last two weeks. Paker Tudor (1-5) looks to win two in a row as they host Speedway (2-4) on Friday.

Linebackers
Josh Barajas – Andrean High School (Ind.)
The Fighting 59ers beat Highland 54-0 to improve to 6-0. Andrean (6-0) will hit to road to Kankakee Valley (5-1) this week.

Defensive Backs
Nick Coleman – Archbishop Alter (Ohio)
Alter (6-0) rolled to a 49-0 win over Roger Bacon this past weekend. Coleman will lead Alter on a road trip to Purcell Marian (2-3).

Shaun Crawford – St Edward (Ohio)
Bergen Catholic (N.J.) knocked off St. Edward (3-2) 14-10 by scoring a touchdown with 26 seconds to play. Crawford and St. Edward will travel to Youngstown State to play Cardinal Mooney (4-1) on Friday. Mooney is the alma mater of Kyle and Dan McCarthy.
Nicco Fertitta – Bishop Gorman (Nev.)
Bishop Gorman was on the national stage on Friday and didn’t disappoint. The Gaels knocked off California powerhouse and the Nations No. 1 team in St. John Bosco 34-31. Fertitta had a nice game with a few tackles and really showed he can play in the nickel. Gorman will host Shadow Ridge (2-2) next.
Prentice McKinney – South Oak Cliff (Texas)
South Oak Cliff rolled over Molina 56-7. The Bears defense held Molina to just 33 yards of total offense. South Oak Cliff (2-3) will host Samuell (3-2) this week.
Ashton White – Bishop McNamara (Md.)
Bishop McNamara (1-3) had a bye week and will host Archbishop Carroll for homecoming on Saturday afternoon.

Specialists
Justin Yoon – Milton Academy (Mass.)
Yoon suffered a back injury week one that will hold him out for most of the season, but his Milton squad won 55-32 in week two. Yoon is focused on getting ready for the Under Armour All-American game in January.

With Sanders blowing up at the Opening, is it possible that Guyton has become this class' biggest sleeper? At least on the offensive side of the ball?
Last year, when Allen played Pearland for the state championship, 54,3347 were in attendance. Largest crowd to see a Texas high school football game. Guyton plays for one of the best and most watched programs in the nation. His quarterback, Kyler Murray, is once again being considered and labeled as the best high school football player. Biggest sleeper? This year's statistics - 33 catches for 713 yards and 6 touchdowns, coupled with last year's 42 catches for 1,029 yards and 13 touchdowns, make Jalen Guyton most visible as a college prospect. Because of the knee injury, Josh Adams would have started his senior year as the proverbial sleeper!

A simple 'no' would have done, but ok...

Just offered Gary Jennings. Lowly rated athlete/WR from Virginia, but has serious local interest.

II is saying we offered him as an ATH, but I am thinking S since that's been pretty common recently.

If we were able to land ESB and Aliz'e to go with Boykin, we could go GIANT package with Robinson and have 6'4, 6'4, 6'4, and 6'5 lining up in the red zone. Good luck DBs.

Don't forget about Weishar and Smythe as well. I still have high hopes for both those guys as good pass catching TEs.

Brandon Wimbush will be on campus this weekend, per Scout

Maybe QB recruiting for the 2015 class isn't totally dead after all

Imagine being the QB with that 4...they could all just bunch up in the endzone and the QB yell out "500" and throw a lob up for 1 of them to grab. Even with 5 DB's defending...I will take those odds that one of those 4 WR's would come down with it!

Do whatever it takes to get a commitment from ESB this weekend. 1 of my Top 5 remaining targets with Soso, Coney, Bilal, and Marshall. I would take Wallace in place of Coney or Bilal. I would make room for Gallimore if he wanted in too.

The crazy thing is I think that BVG is gonna have the defense playing so well that recruiting is gonna be equally as fun on that side of the ball too! Winning at ND is just different than anywhere else in the country. Just quit shooting ourselves in the damn foot with the off the field nonsense, you know?
