There's really no battle. You're freaking out and appear very angry because some people think Malik looked better yesterday. I'm in that group, although I still give the nod to Golson.

I think the offense that was on display was nothing like what you'll see come Rice game. I would expect the normal offense to display a lot more read option QB runs and running plays in general than what we saw yesterday with the talent in the backfield as well as the o-line (keep in mind Nmart and Lombard were out). Zaire did look a bit better than EG in my opinion, but it's tough to tell since I don't view it as they were playing in "the" offense that would be in a normal game. If anything it showed how valuable Daniels will be this year as a leader of a young but very talented receiving corp. I was actually most impressed with how the D played. They probably had at least 3 sacks that the refs didn't blow the whistle on.

Bottom line is its tough to tell anything for sure at this point, with guys out due to injury and the incoming freshman who may contribute.

I'm buying my #8 jersey just in case though :)

Hey, I thought I would take this opportunity to announce Number 6. What is different about this grandchild you may ask? He is the first boy; son of a son. He was 7 lbs., and either 5 or 15 oz., and 21 inches. His feet are so big that the footprints stretch off of the area allotted on the birth record. Kids feet make him look like Bugs Bunny. In fact, he looks just like my son.

Everyone is healthy and proud, doing well!

Just thought you may all get a kick, five and six this year, 2014 has been good. That is all for this year though, I think. I hope!

They were 10-4 last year. Won their conference. Could be a tougher test than people think.

Then again, they didn't have any really impressive wins last year and got crushed (44-7) in their bowl by Mississippi State.

Koon, it might have come off as angry, but I'm just laughing at you. Tone is tough to convey online. I honestly didn't realize you were such a douche. I always gave you the benefit of doubt, but calling me a jabroni? Only 'The Rock' can do that lol. No idea why you had to get personal.

Anyway, your boy called me a jabroni and told me to take a lap, among other things. So I responded in kind. Sue me. It's noble of you to stick up for him, but tell him not to start shit for no reason.

And actually, you should be a better friend. Friends don't let friends post like morons. Friends don't let friends ignore what EVERY expert who seen both play multiple times, only because that friend saw a series where the QB audibled a few times lol. Friends don't let friends do what your friend has done this entire thread.

Now, this was definitely an asshole post, but in this case, it was on purpose. But somehow, my posts are not coming across the way I intend. I am definitely NOT angry...matter of fact I had a fantastic weekend. Truly. You're the 2nd person to say that I need a break lol, so I'm doing something wrong. I know I have strong opinions and I word them strongly, but angry? Nah. Life is REALLY good right now; I have nothing to be angry about; certainly not over something a guy who has no clue about football says about QB play. I enjoy the debate and discourse, but Koon stepped over the line for no reason. I was more incredulous that a guy who backed (who so many people can't stand) would turn and talk shit like that.

So with a baby on the way and my posting being majorly misconstrued (gotta be something I'm saying), I will definitely take a hiatus for awhile from posting (besides, I can't deal with any moron who takes a spring scrimmage over a year and several practices worth of football. It's inconceivable to me, so for my own health I'll peace out for a while lol). Ironman, Whiskey, ulukinateme, etc, I got some really good info from the ISD guys and a couple other friends Saturday morning, so when I get a minute sometime in the next couple weeks you'll get your PM. Out.

Re-watching the game now. Jaylon is gonna have a huge year IMO. I know that's not a stretch but he made same really nice plays, especially the one where he tracked Folston down on the run out wide in the 1st Q. Really excited to see him in August.
