Yeah on Farley. Though CRob is a total mismatch. Definitely not silencing the critics.

Golson with some nicely placed balls at the pylon in that video. Have to pause to see who's throwing it, of course :) Tough to defend 88 when the ball comes in at that angle.

Did I see a receiver catching a ball in stride, able to make a move?

When did we change the offense?

Not to be a jerk, but I can't tell you how much I looked forward to talking about Notre dame football post Rees (especially in this thread) . Any chance we can extinguish the Rees talk and start a new thread about Rees and Favre?

I'm getting pretty excited already for the coming season. We're going to have one big o-line.

Can anyone hook a fella up with a spring roster? I'm dying trying to figure out some of the player numbers in these videos.

Another highlight, another Redfield getting burn. At what point to people stop saying "it's just one highlight" and actually become concerned.

Fair point, but you can't tell me Farley is the lesser of the two evils.

The way you saw those videos; first you would see a rep from scrimmage, then you would see a one on one drill rep. The ones where the defenders (Farley and Redfield got most abused were one on one drills.) In fact did you notice Cole Luke against Corey Robinson in what was undoubtedly a one on one drill? Corey threw him around like a rag doll! What happened when the video of the same two was taken from the scrimmage? Corey slipped, Cole stepped in front, and had a pick. Hell you couldn't even tell who threw that ball. Strong hint, whomever it was, shouldn't have!

You have to at least try to watch them in context.

If a defender has no idea what route a runner is running, because it isn't within the context of an actual play, how good are they going to do unless they impede them at the line. Oh yeah, they can't even disrupt them really, there are no pads yet!

I hear ya brotha but safeties rarely do well in one on one drills. It's shooting fish in a barrel. We need him o pick good angles and knock month-pieces out.
