I'll cry myself to sleep tomorrow if the Bears move up to take him. I'm hoping the Bears take Donald, Clinton-Dix, or Gilbert at 14 or trade down.

I don't think any of them will be there at 14. They might be able to get Calvin Prior at 14 or by sliding down.

What a difference 24 hours makes. Now it appears the Browns are enamored with Bridgewater and the Jags are supposedly going to take Manziel at #3.

NFL pre-draft head games are engaged. They will all be trying to make everyone believe they are going to do something they are not.

BREAKING: I'm talking out of my ass because I'm an NFL draft expert and this is what happens when you give me an extra week for HAWT TAKES. I'm just gonna say a bunch of things and hope some of it's right and then hope that you ignore all of the dumb things I said.

I kind of like Evans just because he moves like a Floyd clone on the field.

The one thing that really concerns me about Evans is that he seems like a me first kind of guy. I had him on my fantasy team so I would watch him pretty closely and within one step off the line, you knew if it was run or pass. You could also tell within a few steps of a pass route if he was the #1 read or not. Combine that with his constant talking and antics on the side line, he rubbed me the wrong way.

I'm going to wait around 3+ hours for pick #29 and I just know the Pats will trade down.....

If Nix is available at 29 and they don't take him, I'll be shocked. Wilfork-clone, Belichick and BK are boys, position of need....

That's what I was thinking, as long as they don't show the green room. Can't stand when they show the guy on the phone before the pick is announced.

I think that they agreed in the last year or two that no one would show it before the pick was announced. I remember them talking about that a ton when they decided not to ruin it for people

This. I am good on all things ESPN outside of actual games.

Yup. MLB Network, NFL Network, NHL Network are all so much better then ESPN for their respective sports. I also prefer FS1 to ESPN.

Woolybug and I had a big discussion on this, and I've always tended to your line of thinking. Against the best of the best he didn't make a lot of plays and got an absurd amount of his stats against Georgia Tech.

However, after learning that Donald was actually BIGGER than his listed height/weight at Pitt and then continuing to learn more about him... with how the NFL is truly becoming more and more pass-first I could see a team that plays an aggressive 4-3 or even some sort of amoeba one-gap 3-4 really loving his game. There is no question that his quickness and pass rushing ability are special for a DT. But he's definitely not a fit at all for any sort of two-gap 3-4 scheme or even many one-gap schemes due to his stature.

I think he will be a bust maybe a decent player. The only way he can survive in the league is playing in a Tampa 2 scheme. Other than that he will get eaten up.

I'm flipping between espn and nfl net. Nfl network has better analysis and commentary, but espn shows highlights of each player drafted and nfl net doesnt

Besides Mayock, I can't stand anyone on NFL Network. I enjoy listening to Kiper and McShay. And I think Dilfer is the best in business at what he does

Far too many mock drafts seem to have JFF to Cleveland...

I really hope that the NFL realizes that people don't want this.

the problem is viewers will watch it regardless, all they care about is the viewer ratings and the only way to bring it back to April is for people not to watch. ain't gonna happen :/

Just seems like a waste of time. None of the writers like the extra time. It also seems like two weeks less of rookie development or something along those lines.

Yep it takes a little time away from rookie orientation/development but allows team longer time to evaluate the current roster they have before they add to it in the draft i guess.

The SEC players love it.

They get 2 more extra weeks before their pay cuts.

I very much want the cowboys to take Manziel, preferably trading up to do it.

The nfl is a better place when Jerry Jones does entertaining, dumb things. Nothing against the cowboys, but I love seeing the circus.

If Romo and his contract weren't there, taking JFF wouldn't be too bad. But taking him with Romo still there is laughable.

100% agree, its one thing for the Jags or Browns to take somebody like JF and we get a few lol's and then the cycle starts again the next year's draft but if the cowboys take JF then we'll get a good decade of stories and mishaps. Can't wait!

gonna be a fun first round....a ton of good talent and imo a lot of teams willing to trade up to ensure that they get their guy at the top of their board.

Plus, a friend of a friend is a HUGE cowboys fan and really takes it to heart when you ride his ass over JJ doing dumb stuff. Soooo ... more fuel for the fire. Good for the lulz.
