Don't like Manti to SD. First off, I hate the Chargers. Second, fans don't even support that team. Their games do not sell out and as a result are often blacked out on tv. They have repeatedly failed to live up to expectations. It's just a completely ****** franchise. Maybe when they move to LA people will start to care about them but I doubt it.

The fact that they don't have an insanely focused fanbase will probably help him initially.

Could you imagine the stupid among a segment of, say, Philly fans if he ended up on the Eagles?

I love the San Diego pick ... Wish the Seau family let Teo break out the 55

So now that Manti (congrats to him and I think will be a good fit) is off the board who will be the next ND player taken in the draft?

I'm pleased for Manti...those who passed on him will wish they hadn't.

I saw this article, which seems to quantify, at least to some degree, tangible losses due to the off field ordeal inflicted on him.

2013 NFL Draft: Why Manti Te'o Will Not Score Big in Guaranteed Money, Product Endorsements - Forbes

The sad thing is, he loses a significant potential income generator in endorsements, and the perpetrator, being defective goods, is not likely to be worth the trouble to take to civil court. Something very unjust there...

Well, Lacy doesn't have the best health record either.

From Pittsburgh's point of view, I think the fact that Bell is a potential three down back was the deciding factor.

Pack and Hawks with absolute steals IMO in Lacy and Michael if they keep their head on straight
